🧠💦🩸Three systems. One balance.
The vascular system delivers what nourishes the body: Oxygen, nutrients, hormones, and fuel.
The lymphatic system clears what no longer serves it: Waste, toxins, inflammation, and cellular debris.
The nervous system helps the body shift between action and rest.
What’s often overlooked:
When the lymph flow slows, waste accumulates
When waste Accumulates, inflammation rises.
Lymphatic drainage sessions help to reduce swelling, inflammation and water retention, supports the immune function, and enhances your body’s natural detoxification. At the same time, they provide deep relaxation, relieve stress, and restores a sense of calm.
✨Flow, calm, and balance work together.

Menopause isn’t just hormonal - it effects circulation, fluid buildup, mood, skin and inflammation.
Supporting the lymphatic system can make a real difference in how the body adapts during this phase.
1️⃣ Supports Hormonal Balance.
The lymphatic system works alongside
detox pathways to help process hormone
byproducts, helping the body regulate more
smoothly.
2️⃣ Promotes Relaxation & Emotional Balance.
The slow rhythmic techniques calm the
nervous system - helping reduce anxiety,
Irritability and sleep disturbances.
3️⃣ Eases Joint Stiffness & Discomfort.
Reducing inflammation and congestion
Can help with aches, heaviness and
stiffness many women experience at
this stage.
4️⃣ Reduces Bloating & Fluid Retention.
Hormonal shifts often lead to puffiness in
face, hands and ankles. Gentle MLD
encourages fluid movement and helps
the body release excess build up.
5️⃣ Improves Circulation & Temperature
Regulation.
Better blood and lymph flow can help ease
the intensity of hot flashes and that
constant overheated feeling.
Please DM if you would like to book a consultation and find out more on how MLD can enhance your wellbeing.

Lymphedema and Lipodema may sound similar, but their causes differ considerably.
What is Lymphedema?
Lymphedema is caused by a blockage in the lymphatic system which leads to a buildup of lymphatic fluid. This results in swelling that can be asymmetric, typically in one of the limbs, and does not necessarily involve fatty tissue as seen in lipodema.
On the other hand..
Lipodema is a condition that generally affects the legs and sometimes the arms, leading to a buildup of fatty tissues, which causes swelling and symmetrical enlargement that can occur from the hips to the ankles. This can lead to serve inflammation within the body.
Lymphatic drainage massage (MLD) is recommended for both of these conditions, but it is so important your therapist understands them both if carrying out (MLD).
If you suffer from either above of these conditions, and would like to know more how (MLD) can help you. Please DM to book a consultation or to ask any questions you may have.

Many therapists focus only on moving lymph.
But in Lipoedema, the challenge runs deeper.
The lymphatic system sits within fascia - the connective tissue network that surrounds and supports every vessel, muscle and structure in the body.
When fascia becomes tight, fibrotic or restricted, it physically limits lymphatic movement and reduces circulation into the tissue.
This means:
• Fluid stagnates.
• Oxygen delivery decreases.
• Nutrients struggle to reach cells.
• Inflammation persists.
At Wellbeing.Jodiehall, advance lymphatic drainage doesn’t just stimulate superficial lymph flow.
For conditions like Lipoedema a different technique is used, Jodiehall works progressively through the deep lymphatic system and fascial layers, smoothing restriction over time to restore movement within the tissue itself.
Because when fascia begins to glide again lymph flows, blood circulation improves and tissue health changes.
Make sure you always tell your (MLD) therapist if you have any of these conditions. Lipoedema or Lymphedema these are 2 different health conditions. And require different techniques and approach to the Lymphatic drainage massage.
