Do you know how to balance this colour correction ?

Let’s talk through process and formulas ….

After a thorough consultation our client told us she had a set of highlights that didn’t lift to the blonde on her ends and she was frightened that “bleaching” her hair further would cause hair breakage , firstly we would never take the bleach through to the ends,just balance the roots to the same colour and eliminate the orange that wasn’t in foils.

Process…. Full head foils highlights 6% roots to blonde demarcation line. We feathered the demarcation making sure not to overload that area with bleach and not to overlap

Once this had 30 minutes developing time we then added a root tint to cover the orange that was left.

We know we need to add colour to roots (orange) area but still leaving it ash and not warm.
We also know we need to use our colour wheel to neutralise orange in our formula which was blue ash.

We used colour touch 7.89plus 6.1 with 1.9% peroxide

This leaves the root area a level 7 natural hair colour for even grow out while neutralising the orange with blue ash.

We also used k18 for shine,strength and rebuild the hair structure.
