How many times have you heard a client say:

“I don’t wash my lashes…”

Or even better:

“My previous lash tech told me I shouldn’t wash my lash extensions.” 😳

Do you ever just stare into the distance for a second and wonder where we went wrong as an industry? 😂

Let me know in the comments how many times you’ve heard this. I’m genuinely curious how many of us deal with it 😂

But seriously.

Don’t judge your clients. Educate them.

When I see that a client’s lashes need “a little more love”, I show her what they look like, explain how to care for them properly and why daily hygiene is so important.

And then I often hear:

“But if I wash them, they’ll fall out!”

Yes. The lashes that are already at the end of their natural growth cycle will fall out anyway.

But if you don’t wash your lashes, dirt, oil, makeup residue and dead skin can build up around the lash line, leading to irritation and poor lash hygiene.

Lash extensions need to be washed.

Every day.

Ideally with a product designed specifically for cleansing lash extensions. But if your client isn’t doing that, please, at least wash them properly with water.

Because not washing them at all and “not touching them so they last longer” is definitely the worst option 😂

Clean lashes aren’t just about better retention. They’re about keeping your natural lashes and the eye area clean and healthy.

So don’t give up.

Even if you’ve explained it 100 times.

Even if you hear this again:

“I don’t touch them because I want them to last longer.” 😂

KEEP EDUCATING.

A good lash tech doesn’t just create beautiful lashes.

A good lash tech teaches clients how to look after them.

„Ja rzęs nie myję…”

albo jeszcze lepiej:

„Moja poprzednia stylistka powiedziała, że rzęs nie wolno myć” 😳

Też wtedy przez chwilę patrzycie w dal i zastanawiacie się, gdzie popełniłyśmy błąd jako branża? 😂

Dajcie znać w komentarzu, ile razy spotkałyście się z taką sytuacją. Jestem naprawdę ciekawa, ile nas jest 😂

Ale teraz poważnie.

Nie oceniajmy klientek. Edukujmy je.

Kiedy widzę, że rzęsy potrzebują „troszkę więcej miłości”, pokazuję klientce, jak wyglądają, tłumaczę, jak prawidłowo o nie dbać i dlaczego codzienna higiena jest tak ważna.

I wtedy często słyszę:

„Ale jak będę je myć, to mi wypadną!”

Tak. Wypadną te rzęsy, które i tak są już w naturalnym cyklu wymiany.

Ale jeśli nie będziesz ich myć, gromadzący się brud, sebum, resztki makijażu i martwy naskórek mogą prowadzić do podrażnień i problemów z higieną okolicy oka.

Rzęsy przedłużane trzeba myć.

Codziennie.

Najlepiej odpowiednim produktem przeznaczonym do mycia rzęs, ale jeśli klientka tego nie robi, to niech myje je chociaż dokładnie wodą.

Bo nie myć ich wcale i „nie dotykać, żeby dłużej się trzymały” to zdecydowanie najgorsza opcja 😂

Czyste rzęsy to nie tylko lepsza retencja stylizacji. To przede wszystkim zdrowie naturalnych rzęs i oczu klientki.

Dlatego nie poddawajmy się.

Nawet jeśli tłumaczymy to setny raz.

Nawet jeśli znowu usłyszymy:

„Ale ja ich nie dotykam, żeby dłużej się trzymały” 😂

EDUKUJMY.

Bo dobra stylistka nie tylko robi piękne rzęsy.

Dobra stylistka uczy klientkę, jak o nie dbać.
