The GTi Manicure course consists of modules exploring the following topics:

- Introduction, Reception, Consultation & Ventilation
- Anatomy & Physiology
- Contra-actions & Contra-indications
- Preperation
- Technique
- Treatment Adaptations & Aftercare

These modules are completed online, in your own time. At the end of every module, there is an online assessment to complete which tests your understanding of the content. This part of the course should be completed in approximately six hours.

GTi Lash & Brow Treatments

It is often said that the eyes are the windows to the soul, and it is for this reason that women have paid close attention to how they are presented for centuries. Well defined eyes show them off to their full potential whilst also balancing the face.

This course will teach you everything you need to know about offering professional Lash & Brow treatments and includes a practical training session and assessment.

This GTi course follows the National Occupational Standards and covers reception, consultation and ventilation. It also covers anatomy & physiology, contra-indications and contra-actions, skin conditions, preparing for treatment and the techniques for eyebrow shaping, the tinting of eyelashes and eyebrows and the application of artificial lashes.

The GTi course includes the GTi Professional Standards course FREE of charge this is usually priced at £49 + VAT.

The GTi Award is accredited by the Guild of Beauty Therapists, the UK’s leading professional beauty trade body.

The course is beautifully written and accompanied by images, video and a voice-over. Upon completion of the online theory modules, you will receive a PDF manual which you can refer back to. All modules and examinations are completed online with full online support available.

The technique modules will also be assessed by one-day assessment at your chosen practical training centre. On completion of the course, successful students will receive a GTi certificate which is acceptable for insurance purposes with The Guild of Beauty Therapists.

GTi Waxing Award

The GTi Waxing Award is accredited by the Guild of Beauty Therapists, the UK’s leading professional beauty trade body.

The course covers the consultation, contra-indications, technique and aftercare needed to perform a waxing treatment and is written following the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for beauty, nails and holistic therapy treatments.

The course is beautifully written and accompanied by images, video and a voice- over. Upon completion of the online theory modules, students will receive a manual which they can use to refer back to. Twelve of the modules and examinations are completed online with full online support available. The remaining module consists of a practical module and examination which is to be completed at a GTi Training Centre.

This course will teach you how to wax the following areas:

•Full Leg Wax
•Half Leg Wax
•Bikini Line Wax
•Underarm Wax
•Lip Wax
•Chin Wax

On completion of the course, successful students will receive a GTi certificate in Waxing.

GTI Gel Nails Award

Nail enhancements are an increasingly popular treatment within the professional beauty industry. The last few years have seen the introduction of UV gel systems which can be used to provide natural looking overlays or enhancements.

UV gel nails are perfect for clients who are looking for a longer lasting nail treatment than a manicure as they can last for as long as three to 4 weeks.

Clients will need to return to the salon to have these removed or infilled, guaranteeing you repeat bookings.

During this course you will learn how use Builder Gel and Polygel to both act as a strengthening barrier over the natural nail and how to use them for extending the natural nail using tips.

*you must hold a previous gel polish qualification prior to taking this course*

The GTi Pedicure Award is accredited by the Guild of Beauty Therapists, the UK’s leading professional beauty trade body.

The course covers the consultation, contra-indications, technique and aftercare needed to perform a pedicure treatment and is written following the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for beauty, nails and holistic therapy treatments.

The course is beautifully written and accompanied by images, video and a voice- over. Upon completion of the online theory modules, students will receive a manual which they can use to refer back to. Six of the modules and examinations are completed online with full online support available.

The remaining module consists of a practical module and examination which is to be completed at a GTi Training Centre.

On completion of the course, successful students will receive a GTi certificate in Pedicure.

GTi Indian Head Massage Treatment

Performing an Indian Head Massage treatment is an opportunity for you to give your client a relaxing and enjoyable treatment designed to encourage a feeling of well being.

This course will teach you everything you need to know about offering a professional Indian Head massage and includes a practical training session and assessment.
