My salon Society and my daughter Bobbie. ♥️

I remember Bobbie being 4 hours old when I got my glad rags on and marched over to open my salon, Society.

I’ve had my ups and downs over the last 10 years. I’ve run self-employed models and an employed model. Now it’s just me and two lovely assistants, and I couldn’t be happier with the vibe we continue to create.

I’ve battled addiction, I’ve fallen a few times, but I continue to get back up and keep walking forward — this is life.

The brand has always evolved, and the vision I have for the future is strong. We don’t evolve if we stand still.

I now work for brands, I do stage work, industry events, and photoshoots. I am the face of Quif Blast, I educate not only for myself but also for Alan Howard, I’ve worked with Denman, and I’m an Innoluxe Superstar.

Let’s just say it’s been one hell of an adventure.

One thing that has never changed is the fact I run a safe space for all humans and all hair types.

I’d like to thank everyone who has not only supported my brand, but supported me.

Here’s to evolving further for my community in Rotherham and further afield.

Thank you to every brand that has offered, and continues to offer, me opportunities — it only helps me grow further.

Here’s to many more years, both in business and in the industry.

A huge thank you to Flux Rotherham for asking us to be involved in something so meaningful and powerful for our community. 💛

Sam popped down to the salon and captured these gorgeous shots of the lantern in our window and the shop in full colour – we absolutely love them.
