A little skin reset for me last week!
After an incredible summer, I decided my skin needed a little attention.
Iām always careful with my SPF, and on holiday I even use an SPF 50 face shield, but thatās another story! š
But summer isnāt just about the sunshine, is it? Itās the long days, lovely food, a few glasses of rosĆ© š and generally enjoying ourselves!
And whilst I wouldnāt change a thing, my skin was definitely ready for some attention.
So, Iām going to start with Microneedling and our Salmon DNA Polynucleotides.
Thereās a reason Iāve chosen this particular combination.
Microneedling stimulates our natural collagen production, helping improve texture, firmness and fine lines. Combined with Polynucleotides, weāre also focusing on hydration, skin quality and supporting the skinās natural repair processes.
Itās about understanding the skin and choosing the right treatments for what we want to achieve.
And to finish, our Neogenesis Beta-Glucan Hydrogel Mask.

Yes, youāre seeing that rightā¦ DELANEY IS BACK!
For those of you who remember Delaney, she was part of our Hush team around four or five years ago before packing her bags and moving across the pond to America!
Well, we have some VERY exciting newsā¦
Sheās coming back to Hush for Christmas!
I honestly cannot tell you how excited we are to have her back with us, even if it is only for a month!
Delaney will be joining us from the beginning of December right through until the end, offering all beauty treatments.
And as you can imagine, our Christmas diary is already getting pretty full, so having Delaney back means we can open up lots more appointments throughout December!
For those of you who used to see Delaney, what a lovely opportunity to come back in, have your treatments and a long overdue catch-up!
And for those who havenāt met her yet, youāre going to love her!
Itās going to be so lovely having one of our original Hush girls back, especially at Christmas.

Thereās a reason this looks like hard work.
Brazilian lymphatic massage isnāt about lying there while we lightly stroke the skin.
Weāre using specific movements to encourage lymphatic flow, help move excess fluid, work through areas that feel heavy or congested, and then using wood therapy to sculpt and contour.

Microneedling is everywhere now.
Lymphatic massage is everywhere.
Advanced skin treatments are everywhere.
So how are you actually supposed to know where to go?
For me, Hush has never been about bringing in the latest treatment simply because everyone is talking about it.
Iāve always believed the treatment should follow the client, not the trend.
And that belief is personal to me too.
Iām a woman in my 50s. I grew up in the 90s, when skincare for a lot of us was basically a St. Ives Apricot Scrub and hoping for the best.
We werenāt thinking about collagen, pigmentation, skin health or how the way we looked after our skin then might affect it later.
And I think that is one of the biggest differences now.
I have one daughter in her mid-thirties and another in her early twenties, and their relationship with skincare is completely different to the one my generation had.
They understand earlier that looking after your skin does not have to mean obsessing over it.
It doesnāt need to be a ten-step routine. It doesnāt mean chasing every new product or treatment.
Itās simply about understanding your skin, knowing what it needs at that stage of your life and making good choices.
And I think that matters even more as we move through our 30s, 40s, 50s and beyond.
Our skin changes. Our bodies change. What mattered to us at 25 may not be what matters to us at 45 or 55.
For me, it isnāt about trying to stop that.
Itās about wanting to look after yourself properly and still feel like yourself.
That is a huge part of why Iām so passionate about what we do at Hush.
Over the years, weāve invested heavily in training, technology and bringing advanced treatments into Hush, often before they became the treatments everyone suddenly seemed to be talking about.
