Cleanse right for your skin type!!

Why have we got a choice of sun creams?

The main difference between mineral and chemical sunscreen is that mineral formulas use active mineral ingredients like zinc oxide and titanium oxide (with NO nano particles) rather than chemical nasties like benzophenone-3/ oxybenzone and homosalate.

Mineral sunscreens do not absorb into the skin, whereas chemical sunscreen does. Instead, mineral sunscreens reflect the sun’s rays and in case you’re wondering, the zinc oxide and titanium dioxide sit on top of the skin, forming a barrier against the sun's rays, working immediately to protect you from the sun, giving you a safe beach body glow. A bit like wearing an armour.

However, it’s very hard to apply and remove mineral sunscreen and will leave a white cast on your skin which for some people meant they were unhappy using it and reverted back to nasty toxic ridden sunscreens.

So an alternative was needed and this is where the creation of new ingredients allowed the development of the Great Barrier range. The safe synthetic ingredients create a hybrid sunscreen that allows mineral ingredients to be absorbed into the skin easily while not leaving a white cast but are skin safe and reef safe.

Hair looking sun damaged not kissed?!

Mine was getting a bit like that this week, swimming 🏊‍♀️ pool bleach, sun and wind had left it tangled and dull.

So this morning I treated it to a gentle cleanse with Tropic Clarifying Cleanser and then a generous helping of Hair Feast to help feed back and nourish it.

I used the scalp massager to help remove some dry skin from my scalp that is probably also causing dullness by stopping the natural oils from reaching my hair and the invigorating massage helped wake me and my scalp up!!

Naturally dried and a lovely healthy hair glow and sheen back again!
