October is ADHD awareness month! Having a diagnosis can really improve things and benefit your life. I know some people don’t like labels, but without this one, my life was a whole lot different. After years of being misdiagnosed and given medication I didn’t need (that ruined my body) I finally got my diagnosis in my 30’s. Thankfully I got medication that changed my life. It’s crazy that I wasn’t diagnosed as a child, especially when male family members were very quickly diagnosed with the same 😢 the joys of being a girl!
Even though my son is young, having his ADHD diagnosis made a big difference to the help we received and I can explain to him why his brain is different. This is why I wrote this book! It’s all about a mom and her child- who both have ADHD!

Hello lovely people! Shout out to the neurodivergent parents of neurodivergent children, we’re just about making it through over here! 👋🏻
I had loads of plans to try and advertise my books and then as usual, my brain crashes and I can’t do any of it.

I’m definitely not the best writer in the world and I don’t have an English teaching degree. I constantly need to grammar and spell check my work.Even then I don’t always get it right first time.

But I do have a huge passion for helping others and supporting children who struggle with feeling different and out of place in the world.

All of my books are written from personal and familial experiences and hopefully portray some of what anxious and neurodiverse individuals feel.

If anyone has any ideas about ways to promote my books or local fairs then please let me know! I’m not always the most confident but I try my best!
