Today is a good day 🤞😁 Lucas and Jo are both in and we still have some available appointments , we can also accept walk ins today .

In June of this year I became very unwell , I was found to have a very large kidney stone , which had travelled from my kidney and had a blockage in my bladder , resulting in sepsis. I was treated for almost a month , in hospital, until the infection had been cleared . Followed by 3 kidney procedures . I took a good few months to get over these treatments. My kidney feels so much better now and as long as drink plenty that side of my health seems all good.
I have so wanted to get back to ‘normal’ . I love my work . I love the little business I have built up and I love all the friendships I’ve built with you all . Works my happy place , especially since joining the lovely hair barn team ❤️
After months of trying to get back into a work routine I am still struggling . I am in a state of chronic fatigue much of the time, I am sick most days , my mobility is limited and a general feeling of hopelessness and frustration . This is known as post sepsis syndrome .
Sorry for the long boring post. I just wanted to tell you all, I am so sorry for being unreliable , every time I have to cancel someone , every time I can’t make it in , I feel very sad . It’s a right crap situation and I can only hope I’m gonna get better and stronger Thankyou all for putting up with me and for your patience . I hope to see you soon . Lots of love jo ❤️

Just to keep you all updated, I am still in hospital, although hometime is in sight at long last. I am going to need time to recover at home. I won’t be back in the salon until at least the start of august. Lucas is holding the fort and he’s doing great. Please don’t hesitate to book in with him .

Jo is in still in hospital, Lucas has taken over and is doing a sterling job ! He will be going on holiday from 4th July until 10th and so we won’t be offering any service during that time,
