Over the last few months, we’ve lost sight of some of the values that Odin’s Barbers was built on. That’s on us, and it’s something we’re committed to putting right.

From today, we’re returning to what has always mattered most—creating a place where everyone feels welcome, supported, and able to open up without judgement. A place you can call home.

This next chapter is all about our community. Thank you for sticking with us, believing in us, and allowing us to continue giving back. We’re excited for what’s ahead.

When we closed the doors at Odin’s Barbers, I truly believed it was the end of a chapter.

What I didn’t expect… was the wave of messages.
The calls.
The people telling me how much this place meant to them.

Over the years, this has never just been about haircuts.
It’s been about conversations.
About checking in on each other.
About creating a space where men could talk openly, feel understood, and not feel alone.

Hearing how much that mattered — how much this space mattered — made me realise something.

It would be wrong to let that disappear completely.

So we’re coming back.

Not full-time. Not the way it was before.
But in a way that keeps the heart of it alive.

After a lot of thought, hard conversations, and sleepless nights, I need to share something with you all.

After 8 years, Odin’s Barbers will be closing its doors.

This decision hasn’t come lightly. It’s down to a mix of my health, time, and the pull of a new business venture that needs my full focus. Even writing this feels surreal.

Odin’s Barbers was never just a barbershop.
We set out to create something different — a safe space, a place where it was okay to talk, okay to struggle, and okay to not be okay. Being the only dedicated mental health barbershop in the North West is something I will always be immensely proud of.

Since opening, we have personally paid for private counselling for over 380 people.
That number still blows my mind.
380 lives where someone felt heard, supported, and helped — and that alone makes every long day, every late night, and every tough moment worth it.

To every person who trusted us with their story while sitting in the chair — thank you.
To those who walked in needing a haircut and walked out feeling lighter — you are the reason this place existed.
To my staff past and present, the community, and everyone who backed this vision — I genuinely couldn’t have done this without you.

This isn’t a goodbye to the values Odin’s Barbers stood for. Mental health, honesty, and looking out for one another will always be part of who I am and what I do next.

From the bottom of my heart — thank you for 8 unforgettable years.
