This morning we had the privilege of supporting the St Albans Homelessness event🏡
Alongside an incredible group of charities, healthcare professionals, volunteers and local organisations, we were able to provide dental advice, oral health education, signposting to local services, and oral care samples for those who need it most.

Events like this highlight the importance of collaboration — when different services come together, the impact goes far beyond what any one of us could achieve alone.

Grateful to be part of a community so committed to dignity, support and accessible care for all. 🦷🤍

Favourite case of the week ✨🦷

This patient presented with heavy staining, gingival recession and extremely sensitive teeth. We treated them using GBT (Guided Biofilm Therapy) — a gentle yet highly effective approach that’s completely tailored to patient comfort.

This year has been one of the biggest seasons of growth in my career so far 🌿
From being close to completing my Perio School diploma to pushing myself outside my comfort zone and continuing to learn every day. In addition to fundraising to return to Uganda with Dentaid to help make smiles brighter around the world. It’s been a year of challenges, confidence, and connection.

To now be recognised as a Hygienist of the Year finalist at the Private Dentistry Awards feels incredibly special 🦷✨
Grateful for the amazing patients who trust me, the mentors who’ve guided me, and the teams who’ve supported me every step of the way.

A small introduction…

I’m Daisy, A qualified Dental Hygienist based in St.Albans, Hertfordshire.

I started my career in dentistry over 6 years ago as a trainee dental nurse, after gaining experience i knew the next step for me was to progress to a hygienist.

I later qualified from Essex University and my dream of becoming a hygienist became reality. Since then my passion for helping and educating patients has grown. Quality patient well being is very important to me. I consistently maintain a high level of care through my compassionate and gentle approach ensuring a consistently positive experience.

I now specialise in working with nervous and dental phobic patients through a warm benevolent approach, ensuring each person is treated as an individual.
I aim to work inter-professionally providing holistic oral health care in the best interest of all my patients.

I have also undergone further training in Tooth whitening, periodontal therapy and facial aesthetics. My goal is to continue to progress to the best practioner i can be.
