I am loving being a mummy to my little Koby Michael, time has just flown by and I can’t believe he’s 4 months old already!
I was hoping to start doing a little bit of hair before Christmas, however, most of you may know my Dad had been battling the dreaded C word since beginning of 2022. Unfortunately,nearly 5 weeks after Koby was born he couldn’t fight any longer and sadly passed away. Obviously this has hit my family and I pretty hard as we weren’t ready to say goodbye so soon and I haven’t been mentally in the right place to go back to work. Being a new mum, I’ve tried to be in our happy little bubble and taking on the new challenges that comes alongside but with losing my dad it has taken that shine off slightly. I am so glad that my Dad got to meet his first Grandson and we will tell Koby all about his Grumpa as he gets older.
Anyyyway this isn’t a sympathy post, it’s just to let you know my situation and that I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth.
Plus, my exciting new adventure is well underway.
I will be in touch again very soon.

We are very in love and in our happy little bubble 🥰

I have tears whilst I’m writing this.. but I have closed the doors for the final time at Janey Paul Hair Studio in Probus, ready to put my feet up before the arrival of Baby Barrett.
What an amazing 6 years I have had! I just wanted to say a massive thank you to every single client that has stepped through the door, the support from you all means so much to me and I have loved every single minute of being there.
I have received so many beautiful gifts over the past few weeks for little one, this baby is very lucky and so am I!
My partner, my family and my friends have been my biggest supporters, I’ve probably not seen them as much as I hoped to over the last 6 years, as the salon has been my absolute life.
A special thank you must go to my brother in law, Paul. My dream of having my own salon came true because of him believing in me and investing in me.
Good news.. I’m not giving up, I’m just having a little break to enjoy being a mummy. Keep an eye out for updates of what’s happening in the near future 🥰
