Today, the Prime Minister announced that hair and beauty businesses can re-open on 12 April under Step 2 of the Government's roadmap.

The Department for Business, Enterprise and Industrial Strategy has confirmed that mobile businesses can reopen in Step 2 but should follow the following guidance: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/working-safely-during-coronavirus-covid-19/homes

Only saunas and steam rooms within personal care will not be able to open, these will open in Step 3.

Good Morning ✨

Just a quick update, I have been waiting confirmation on a start date & government guidance on PPE. Unfortunately my industry haven't had any clarification as yet. As it stands the start date is around 4th July (at the earliest). As soon as this is confirmed I will be messaging clients regarding appointments. I have a list of clients that have missed their appointments due to COVID-19, these will be the first clients I message to get them rebooked, as I think this is only fair. If there are any days/time’s around that date that would suit you best, please do message me. So I can start provisionally looking at appointments.
Regarding PPE, I will be using hand sanitiser before entering clients homes, wearing an apron that will be wiped down after every client, gloves & a face mask. I will be asking all clients to also wear a mask during their appointment. So please start looking into purchasing one (if you haven't one already)

Just a quick message following the update yesterday. As the 2 meter distancing rule still applies, I am unable to return work just yet. I will keep you all updated as I know more details.

Ps I’m keeping up to date with all health & safety. I have an order of ppe coming this week including extra gloves, gowns & barbicide spray to clean all equipment after each service

Unfortunately the time has come where I need to temporarily close my business, as the hairdressing industry is non essential work. I hope all of my clients understand, as it is for their safety aswell as my own families.

It’s going to be a very difficult few weeks/months for everyone, so please stay safe & look out for others.

✨I just wanted to let all of my clients know I am still working. I am of course taking it day by day as things are changing so quickly but I am following government guidelines & asking if any clients have a cough/cold/high temperature please do cancel your appointment. I also completely understand some clients are self isolating & do not want to risk being in contact with anyone ✨

✨I am messaging my clients on the day of their appointments to check if all is okay, as I know this is a difficult time for everyone ✨
