I’m Rach, the face behind AYLA Aesthetics.

I’m a mum first, a facial balancing perfectionist second, powered by Coconut Vanilla lattes somewhere in between 😂

I’m originally from Dublin but St Helens has been home for the last 15 years. I’ll always argue this is literally the best place on earth! 🤩😂 I genuinely feel so grateful for the little life and business I’ve built here.

My clinic is private, 1:1 and anxiety friendly, and I want every woman who walks through my door to feel comfortable, listened to and completely at ease.

And yes… I will absolutely hype you up when you look in the mirror after your treatment 🥹🤍

Cannula or needle… what’s the difference? 💉

Ever wondered why I use a needle for some treatments and a cannula for others?

They might both be used to place dermal filler, but they work in different ways.
A needle has a sharp tip, making it useful when I need precise placement in a specific area.

A cannula has a rounded, blunt tip that moves through the tissue differently. It can allow me to treat larger areas from fewer entry points, potentially reducing bruising and tissue trauma.

But here's the important bit…

Neither technique is completely risk-free, and one isn't automatically better than the other.
The right choice depends on your facial anatomy, the area we're treating and what we're trying to achieve.

At AYLA, I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every face is different, and your treatment should reflect that. 🤍
