Hopefully moving in right direction!!

The government has announced new powers that could see illegal barbershops shut down for as long as a year.

The Home Office said the longer closure periods would allow investigators more time to collect evidence, build cases and identify those behind the businesses, while stopping rogue operators from reopening and continuing unlawful activities.

We have been lobbying government hard on this issue for several months, so we are pleased to see some action.

Remember, your membership greatly helps our lobbying effort, it enables us to highlight these issues to government ministers, which then leads to solutions to the issues you care about. You can find out more about our membership on our website.

For now, you can read more about today’s news on the BBC website - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cqj1rkqqrgro

I’ll just leave this here! One trade that needs sorting out..
