She went for a chop.
She went over to the dark side.
She went for a full winter transformation
using Wella Color Touch 5/3, 5/1 and a touch of 4/8 with 4%, finished off with a bouncy blow-dry for added volume.
Today’s most requested haircut… it would be a BOB ❄️✂️
I chopped, shaped, textured and tailored —
and every single one is slaying.
Session One — Colour Correction
This client came in with a miriad of home colours and bleach throughout her hair. The goal for this first session was to create a more even canvas, soften the harsh regrowth line, and blend everything into a more seamless, natural-looking result.
Her hair condition varied throughout, with some areas of previous bleach lifting much higher than others, so maintaining integrity was my priority.
To achieve this, I used:
✨ Full head of teased lows using Wella 5/3 and 7/86 with 4%.
✨ Through the front, I added baby-teased weaves, melting the leftover base colour down through the dropouts to help connect the mid-lengths.
✨Toned with 9/36 & 10/6
I considered doing tip-outs on the ends to brighten old home lightener and copper dye, but I made the decision not to, in order to protect the hair’s integrity during this first corrective session.
This is a journey — but already a huge improvement in softness, tone, and blend. Session two will take this even further!
Brown is one of my favourite colours — soft as velvet, rich as chocolate, and impossibly beautiful when it becomes hair like this
Wella 2/0 on roots melting into pre-lightened mids & lengths, glossed with 7/03 & 8/81 for the dreamiest blend
🍂🤎🍂
Soft lowlights with a few lighter pieces to add depth, movement, and that expensive feel.
Because dimensional colour never goes out of style
When the blonde and the face frame hit just right
No toner, no shadow melt —just her natural depth and my foil placement doing all the work 💫
Blended Blonde
Created using Wella Blondor lightener with 4%
—————-
I combined traditional scalp highlights right to the root with teased highlights for a softer grow-out. Foils were placed in forward diagonals through the sides, pivoting to create a bright, face-framing glow.
No root shadow was needed — strategic foil placement and her natural depth provided all the dimension and softness.
Toned with the Wella Color Touch range
—————
Blending 9.3 for some brightness & reflection with a mix of 10.86 and 10.6 (a pink-based violet tone) and 1.9%, to give a clean, slightly ashy finish with a beautiful natural shimmer
