People remember unique s**t.

Half the time it’s got f**k all to do with how expensive something was.

It’s just the thing they associate with you.

👉 The way you greet clients.

👉 The music in the background.

👉 Something in the shop everyone comments on.

👉 The story people tell when they recommend you.

That’s branding.

Not logos.

Not colours.

Not some fancy slogan.

Just giving people something to remember.

Everyone’s obsessed with looking premium.

I’d rather be memorable.

Because memorable gets talked about.

Comment “SLIDE” and I’ll send you over a few ways to make your brand unforgettable.

I think a lot of people quietly carry around this idea that if they feel disappointed by success, they’re somehow being ungrateful.

I don’t think that’s true.

Just because you’ve got something you once wanted doesn’t mean you’re obligated to want it forever.

People change.

What you value changes.

What excites you changes.

And I’d argue that’s a lot healthier than spending your whole life pretending otherwise.

Barbers spend way too much time trying to justify a price increase.

Explaining it.

Warning clients about it.

Feeling guilty about it.

As if charging more is some massive f**king favour clients have to approve.

The reality is, pricing problems are usually positioning problems.

Because when someone sees you as premium, they expect premium prices.

Nobody’s shocked when a Rolex costs more than a Casio.

Nobody’s confused why some restaurants charge £20 and others charge £200.

People pay based on perception.

👉 Your content.

👉 Your standards.

👉 Your environment.

👉 Your reputation.

👉 Your overall experience.

That’s what creates pricing power.

Not another paragraph on Instagram explaining why you’ve gone up £3.

If clients are constantly flinching at the thought of paying more, the answer usually isn’t to become better at defending your prices.

It’s to become better at positioning yourself.

If you want the exact playbook I used to attract high end clients who happily pay premium prices, comment INSTA and I’ll send it over.

One week in and a few things have already surprised me.

👉 The amount of shopping centre barbershops is f**king mental

👉 Client experience seems to be a much bigger focus than back home

👉 I’ve seen way more barbers on wages than I expected

It’s weird because we’re all doing the same job.

You pick up a pair of clippers and cut hair.

But the industry feels completely different.

The way shops are run.

The way barbers get paid.

The way clients choose where they go.

Interested to see what else I notice over the next few months.
