We’re launching The Young Nail Artists Workshop at TACE Training Academy.
It’s a 3-day hands-on nail training experience designed for girls aged 13–16 who are interested in beauty, creativity and learning new skills.
Students will learn BIAB, Gel, Acrylic basics, nail art and nail hygiene and safety.
•Led by a VTCT-qualified educator with 10+ years industry experience
•Ofsted-rated building
•Refreshments and Goodie bag included
•Certificate of completion

A few tips on becoming the go to person in your chosen career field.
I’ve been in the beauty industry for nearly 10years now and seeing how it has grown and transformed has been incredible. I began my journey at 16 years old & now as 25 year old woman these are the top 3 things I’d say would help anyone on their journey of becoming an expert 🖤

We’re excited to announce that TACE Training Academy is launching a brand-new pilot programme right here in Wythenshawe and we’re looking for a small group of girls aged 14–16 to join us! 💖

🌟 Keen to explore a career path in the beauty industry

As part of our 'Brains & Beauty – School Edition', students will:
✅ Learn practical nail techniques (Acrylic, Gel & BIAB)
✅ Get hands-on with professional products and tools
✅ Build skills in anatomy, hygiene, and client care
✅ Receive guided mentorship in a safe, empowering space
👩🏽🏫 All sessions are taught by a qualified VTCT nail tech & educator and take place in an inclusive learning environment.
We’re piloting this programme to help local teens get early access to professional-level training with absolutely no pressure, just encouragement, creativity, and growth.

1. 🤚Moisturise Daily
Cuticle oil or a rich hand cream should be applied daily, especially after washing your hands or when you notice dryness. This helps to replenish moisture and prevent cracking and peeling.
2. 🧴Look for products that contain Vitamin E, almond oil or Jojoba oil as they contain fatty acids and vitamins which closely resemble the skin’s natural oils.
3. 🧤 Wear gloves to protect you hands when completing household chores like washing dishes/gardening or in cold weather. These conditions are known for drying out the hands and skin.
