The vacuum cup is a key tool in a Wooden Maderotherapy treatment.

When glided across the body, the vacuum created lifts the tissues. This helps them to separate, enabling better lymph and blood flow, breaking down fat deposits, reducing cellulite and enhancing skin elasticity. It also helps to sculpt the body (or face) as it supports the reduction of fluid retention.

In your treatment you'll hear popping noises as it's used: this means it's working! It's nothing to be embarrassed by- a good pop means it's doing its job!

You don't need to find an hour to find calm.
Regular short bursts are great for giving your body a break.

If you're a driver- take some deep breaths each time you stop at a red light. In through the nose, tongue to the roof of your mouth, belly breathing breaths.

Making a brew? While the kettle boils, stand still, close your eyes if you feel comfortable doing so, and do a body check. Where are you feeling tension? Can you relax that area?

Ironing? Dance a little, sing a little.

All these are great exercises to get a bit of vagus nerve activation into your day.
