This Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, Heads Up Gentlemen is bringing something powerful to the stage. This isn’t just a show — it’s an evening of film, theatre, real lived experience, food, music and honest conversation. 💚
🎬 1. BEFORE YOU GO — We open with a private screening of the powerful short film exploring choices, connection and the impact we leave behind.
🎭 2. BUS BANTER — Live theatre takes over the stage with a thought-provoking production bringing another side of men’s lives and experiences into the spotlight.
🍛 3. INTERMISSION — Time to grab some freshly prepared Indian cuisine from Darjeeling Indian Takeaway, proudly supporting the evening.
🗣️ 4. BEHIND THE SMILE — REAL LIFE EXPERIENCES — The Heads Up Gentlemen take to the stage. Real men. Real stories. Real lived experience. Addiction. Bereavement. Anxiety. ADHD. Bipolar. Depression. No scripts about somebody else’s life — these are our stories.
🎸 5. LIVE MUSIC — We break it down with original music, including “I Carry That Baggage” and “Legacy” — songs created around men’s mental health, the battles we carry and the lives we leave behind. 🎶🔥
🎤 6. LIVE Q&A — We finish by opening up the conversation with our guests, creatives and the Heads Up Gentlemen team.

⛳🔥 WHAT A NIGHT AT HEADS UP GENTLEMEN! 🔥⛳
Tonight’s indoor putting competition was an absolute belter! 🏌️♂️😂💚
Plenty of fun, laughter, banter and friendly competition — although things definitely got a little heated when the competitive side kicked in! 😂🏆
After some seriously questionable putting from a few of the lads 😂 and some top-class shots from others, it all came down to the wire...
🏆⛳ And our very own Chair & Founder, Jeff, took the win! 👏😂🥇
But nights like tonight are about much more than golf. 💚 They’re about men getting together, switching off from the stresses of the week, having a laugh, talking and supporting one another. 🤝🧠
That’s men’s mental health support too. Sometimes the best conversations happen when you're simply doing something together. 💪💚

Tomorrow we’re back together for our Wednesday men’s mental health & wellbeing session. 💪🧠

🎭 Then the work begins! After the meeting, we’ll be getting ready for our first BEHIND THE SMILE rehearsal ahead of Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month. 🎬🎭🔥
And once rehearsal is done… WE’RE GOING ALL NIGHT! 🎱🃏🍕😂 A chance for the lads to relax, socialise, have some fun and enjoy each other’s company.
Tomorrow is about connection, brotherhood, purpose and getting Behind the Smile ready to hit the stage. 💚💪
