With the heat set to peak mid week, I just wanted to let everyone I’m still working as normal and have ordered a mini air con unit for the salon room which will arrive tomorrow. I’ve been keeping it as cool as possible and will have a supply of cold water. It might be worth bringing a small towel to sit on as the chairs do make you quite hot! Look forward to seeing you all in a hopefully cooled room ❤️

Spring has sprung! Well, nearly…….. some lovely days this week have inspired the brighter colours and fun designs ☀️
And then today 😔 ☔️ ………. But hopefully soon there will be more 🌞 than 🌧️

Well, I can officially now say I’m finished for Christmas, and that’s another year of nails, lashes and brows done! And what a year it’s been - my quiet periods not so quiet, and days filled with to the brim with appointments, so a huge thank you to everyone for their support this year ❤️
All that’s left to do is wish every one of you a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year! I look forward to seeing you in 2026 🥂 😘

Today I sit with a heavy heart. I will be closed for the day to pay my respects and mourn the loss of a dear client, taken long before her time.

It is a reminder to me of the intimacy of the treatments I offer, that constant hand to hand contact leads to connection. You share, talk, laugh and cry and through that become friends. This is my first experience of loss since I started the business and I hope that it will be a long time before I experience it again.
To each and every one of my clients, I am grateful for the smiles and laughter you bring to my day and the privilege you give me of doing a job that I love.

This post is not about gaining likes, or promoting business, it’s a reminder to hold your loved ones close, reach out to those that you’ve left it too long since contacting, and appreciate every moment you get to spend with them. It is a gift, not a given.

Today we mourn a huge loss and the grief is immense, but it is not mine to own, this belongs to the fiancé and family left behind and the huge hole that is left. So to them, I sit beside today to grieve your loss, and to show how much happiness, friendship and at times support over shared difficulties, she brought to my life 💔
