This client came to me today heartbroken. After a “choppy layers” request went wrong at another salon yesterday, she was so embarrassed she wouldn’t leave the house without a hat.
When a cut is disconnected, you have two choices: go extremely short or get strategic with the geometry. I chose to get creative.
The Solution:
I designed a feminine, edgy blend that salvaged the length in the back while completely reconstructing the sides. By focusing on weight distribution and seamless blending, I turned a “hair emergency” into an intentional, modern silhouette.
She’s walking out with her head held high and a style that actually works for her.
