Party season doesn't start in December. It starts now.
Polynucleotides work by repairing your skin from the inside, and that takes time. Roughly six weeks before you see the skin quality shift, longer if we're building a full course. So the appointments I'm doing this week are the December glow. The ones booked in November are the January regret.
If you want to walk into party season with skin that looks rested rather than covered up, now is the window.
Book through the link in bio.

The December glow gets booked in September. Polynucleotides need about six weeks to do their thing, so this appointment is somebody's Christmas party skin. Award-winning clinic, doctor-led, Salisbury. Link in bio to book.

PRP, or platelet-rich plasma, is a regenerative treatment that uses a small sample of your own blood. The blood is processed to concentrate the platelets, and the resulting PRP is injected into targeted areas of the scalp.
PRP contains a range of growth factors and signalling proteins that may help support the hair follicle environment and improve hair density in some people with certain types of hair loss.
It isn't a miracle cure, and it isn't suitable for every type of hair loss. A proper medical assessment is important before treatment to establish the likely cause of hair thinning and whether PRP is appropriate.
At Hedonia Clinic, PRP hair treatments are carried out following a medical consultation and individual assessment.

Daily is the boring stuff: omega-3, vitamin D3+K2, a moisturiser that isn't complicated, azelaic acid if you're prone to redness. None of it looks impressive. All of it compounds.
Weekly is maintenance most people skip — gentle exfoliation, a scalp treatment, clean brushes, a fresh pillowcase. Small things, but they're doing more work than whatever's trending.
Monthly is where clinic comes in: microneedling, PRP, skin boosters, polynucleotides, TCA peels. These are the treatments with the strongest evidence behind them for texture and quality — not overnight, but genuinely cumulative.
Nothing here is a miracle. That's rather the point.

Before any TCA touches the skin, we cleanse with a pH neutral cleanser. No glycolic, no salicylic, no retinoids in the days leading up to it either. Any oil, makeup or leftover residue means the acid absorbs unevenly, and uneven absorption is where you get patchy results and irritation.
On melanin-rich skin this prep matters even more, because uneven pe*******on is what drives post-inflammatory pigmentation.
It's ten seconds of foam that decides how the whole peel behaves.
Peels at Hedonia Clinic are always assessed and performed a doctor.

Why we ask you not to exercise after treatment

This is probably the aftercare question I get most: “But why can’t I exercise? I feel completely fine.”
It’s not exercise itself. It’s the timing.

1. More blood flow = potentially more bruising
Exercise increases blood flow and blood pressure. After injections, tiny vessels have been punctured, so increased circulation can contribute to more bleeding, swelling and bruising.
2. Heat increases redness and swelling
Exercise raises your core temperature and causes vasodilation. After peels, microneedling and energy-based treatments, this can prolong redness and puffiness.
3. Your skin barrier needs time
Microneedling and peels temporarily disrupt the skin barrier. Sweat, hands, gym equipment and shared towels introduce unnecessary contamination while the skin is recovering.
4. Pressure matters
After injectable treatments, avoid activities that put significant pressure on treated areas, such as swimming goggles, helmets, contact sports or lying face-down.
5. I need you to see the warning signs
After filler, early signs of vascular compromise can include unusual pain, blanching or mottled/dusky skin. A hot, flushed face after exercise can make these changes harder to recognise.
So how long?
For many injectable and regenerative treatments, 24–48 hours is a sensible precaution. Microneedling and superficial peels are often similar. Your specific treatment may require longer.
Gentle walking is usually fine.
And importantly, much of aesthetic aftercare is based on physiology, manufacturer guidance and clinical consensus rather than large clinical trials.
The goal isn't to sabotage your workout. It's to protect your results and make the recovery safer.
You waited weeks for your appointment. Give your skin a little time to settle. ❤️

PRP is genuinely well supported for some things and heavily oversold for others. The hair data is the strongest — 43 randomised trials. The facial data is thinner, and it isn't a volume treatment no matter how it's marketed.
The part nobody mentions: preparation protocols vary enormously between clinics, and that's a large part of why results vary. It's a fair question to ask before you book anywhere.

Here's what I'm recommending in clinic right now, and why the timing matters.
TCA peel. Lower UV levels make autumn the safest window for resurfacing. Sun damage, uneven tone and texture from the summer all respond well, and your skin has months to settle before the next round of sunshine.
Sculptra. This one is a slow build. It stimulates your own collagen over several months rather than filling anything, so starting now means the results are landing right around next spring and summer. Patience genuinely pays here.
PRP. We take a small sample of your blood, spin it to concentrate the platelets, and reintroduce that into the skin. Those platelets release growth factors that signal repair, improving skin quality, tone and firmness over a course of treatments.
Polynucleotides. Purified DNA fragments that work as a biostimulator. They hydrate deeply, calm inflammation and encourage your fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin. Excellent under the eyes, around the neck, and for skin that looks tired rather than lined.
None of these are quick fixes. That's the point. Regenerative treatments work with your own biology, so they need time, and autumn gives you that time.

I got over 50 reactions on my posts last week! Thanks everyone for your support! 🎉

Unlike a traditional filler, Sculptra is a collagen stimulator. It works with your own skin, prompting it to produce new collagen over the weeks and months after treatment.
That's why the change is gradual. You won't walk out looking different — you'll notice firmer, fuller skin over time, and so will everyone else, without knowing why.
Best for volume loss in the temples, cheeks and jawline, and for overall skin quality.

Five things worth knowing about Sculptra before you book anything.

It isn't a filler. Poly-L-lactic acid doesn't sit under the skin creating volume — it prompts your own collagen to build over time. That distinction matters, because it changes what you should expect and when you should expect it.

You won't see much at first. Change develops over weeks to months, across a course of sessions. If anyone tells you you'll walk out looking different, be careful.

In clinical studies, 80% of people maintained correction at the 25-month follow-up. Long-lasting, not permanent. Individual results vary.

It's a facial treatment. Volume loss, folds, wrinkles. Which areas — if any — are appropriate for you is a clinical decision, not something you pick from a list.

And it isn't right for everyone. Not in pregnancy or breastfeeding, not under 18, not with a history of keloid scarring. All injectable treatments carry risks, and those are discussed in full before anything is agreed.

If collagen biostimulation is the right approach for your face, we'll tell you. If it isn't, we'll tell you that too.
