With our current schooling horse preparing to head home, we'll soon have a space available for another horse to join us!
Ideal for horses needing consistent education, confidence-building, general schooling or a structured return to ridden work where appropriate.
Each horse receives an individual programme, with regular updates to keep owners involved in their progress.

Hay or haylage, basic feed and two bales of shavings per week are included.

🎗️🩷🩵 Wild Equestrian is supporting the Sands Ribbon Run 2026🎗️🩷🩵

This October, I’ll be stepping away from the yard for a very special reason.
Some of you may know that on Mother’s Day this year, I experienced an ectopic pregnancy and was rushed into emergency surgery. The experience took a huge toll on me, both physically and mentally.
Following my loss, Sands and their wonderful community helped me more than they could ever know. I connected with people who had been through similar experiences, and we were able to talk, understand one another and support each other through some incredibly difficult moments. 🤍
It’s something I feel very strongly about: every baby loss matters, regardless of how far along you were. No one should ever have to feel alone.
During Baby Loss Awareness Week, I’ll be taking part in the Sands Ribbon Run, walking in memory of my baby and every baby gone too soon.
Sands has given me so much support, and now I want to give something back. I hope that by raising funds and awareness, I can help another family find the support and community that helped me.

A Little Update from Wild Equestrian!

Our professional photographs from the New Forest & Hampshire County Show back in june have arrived, and I couldn't resist sharing them! 📸

It was such a special opportunity for Wild Equestrian to sponsor two HOYS qualifier classes and be involved in the prize giving. I'm incredibly grateful to the show organisers for allowing my little business to be part of such a wonderful event.

Back to the day at the yard:
Serena enjoyed some work in the arena, while Clifford had some time dedicated to his individual needs, along with a cuddle or two, of course.

That's one of the things I love most about Wild Equestrian — one day I might be representing the business at a show, and the next I'm back doing what I love most: spending time with the horses and tailoring their care and work to suit each individual.

🐴 SCHOOLING & CONDITIONING LIVERY — SPACE BECOMING AVAILABLE 🐴

Summer is coming to an end, the children are back at school and normal routines are starting again… but perhaps your horse's routine hasn't quite followed?
Maybe you've recently backed a youngster who would benefit from some consistent, dedicated work and education.
Perhaps your horse needs help building fitness, confidence and consistency, or you'd like them schooling, hacking and getting out and about to lessons, clinics, shows or other venues.
Or maybe work has suddenly become hectic, you're going away, or life has simply got in the way and you don't want your horse sitting out of work.
That's exactly where schooling livery can help.
I have one Schooling & Conditioning Livery space becoming available shortly at my small, quiet yard in Seend, Wiltshire, once my current schooling livery completes his programme.
Every horse receives an individual programme based around where they are now and what their owner would like to achieve. This can include schooling, hacking, groundwork, lunging, long-reining, confidence building, fitness work and appropriate outings away from home.
My current schooling livery is a lovely example of this. During his stay we've worked on his education and confidence, introduced new experiences and recently took him to his very first show — a huge county agricultural show. Despite the crowds, tannoys, fairground, hounds, tractors and busy rings, he took the whole experience brilliantly and made us incredibly proud. 🥹

After a good groom, two horses enjoyed a full Equine Sports Massage followed by some time under the Equilibrium Massage Pad — and judging by those faces, I think it went down rather well 🥰
One of the things I love about having my massage work alongside the yard is being able to incorporate it into the horses' individual routines and programmes where beneficial.

Whether they're in for schooling, rehabilitation or simply needing a little maintenance, I can keep a close eye on how they're feeling through their body and adapt their work accordingly.
Today though, it was simply a lovely bit of hands-on TLC and relaxation for two of the horses we have in. Safe to say they are very happy horses. ❤️

Clifford… you were incredible. 🤎🐴
Today was never about bringing home a rosette. Today was about asking a young pony to trust me, step into a completely new environment and show me just how far he has come.
And he absolutely blew me away.
Today was Clifford's first ever show — and we didn't exactly choose a quiet little introduction! 😂 We headed straight into a busy county agricultural show, surrounded by crowds, tannoys, music, fairground rides, huge tractors and machinery, hunt hounds right beside our ring and ridden horses competing on either side of us.
There was so much for him to see, hear and take in.
And Clifford simply took it all in his stride.
He stood amongst the other horses, listened to me, trusted me and went into that huge ring as though he'd done it all before.
We were in a big M&M Large Breeds class amongst some beautiful, established native horses and although today wasn't our day for a placing, I genuinely couldn't have walked out of that ring any prouder of him.
Because sometimes the biggest wins don't come with a rosette.
For me, the win was feeling the trust this pony has developed in me.
When I asked him to walk forward, he came with me. When I asked him to stand amongst all that atmosphere, he did. When it was our turn to go out there on our own for our individual show away from thr horses lined up he trusted that I wouldn't put him somewhere he couldn't cope.
Clifford came to Wild Equestrian to learn, gain confidence and build the foundations that will ultimately allow him to go home and continue his journey with his owner. Every little piece of training we've done has been leading towards moments like today.
And today he showed us just how much he has learned.
A massive thank you also has to go to Steph, his owner, for asking me to take Clifford to his very first show and, more importantly, for trusting me with him.
There is something incredibly special about an owner handing you their horse and saying “I trust you to do this with him.” I don't take that responsibility lightly.
Thank you for allowing me to be the person beside him for such a big first. 🤎
A young pony who walked into one of the biggest atmospheres he's ever experienced, trusted his handler, behaved beautifully and came home with another huge piece of education under his belt.
I'll take that as a win every single time.
So proud of you, Clifford. 🥹

We've had an unexpected hospital stay with my little boy this week, while I've also been solo parenting two little ones, so naturally my son's health and my family have had to come first. ❤️
Behind the scenes, I'm incredibly grateful that the yard has continued running smoothly, with all of our horses receiving their usual care while I've been away.
We're now heading home, and this afternoon/evening is going to be a busy one — catching up, getting back to the yard and completing our final show preparations ahead of a very early 4am start tomorrow! 🐴
I'll be working through messages as soon as I can, but non-urgent messages and enquiries may not receive a reply until tomorrow.
Thank you so much for your patience and understanding while I navigate everything and play catch-up.
My son's health and my family will always come first — the horses are cared for, and everything else can follow.

Someone was waiting very patiently for his saddle fitting today… 🐴
A huge thank you to Megan Stone Saddle Fitter for spending nearly two hours with us and Clifford today.
Megan took her time, answered all of our questions and was incredibly patient while we worked through exactly what Clifford needs.
One of my favourite parts of today was being able to work together as professionals. I could feed back what I've been finding through Clifford's massage treatments, areas of tension, muscular development and changes I've noticed through his work — while Megan could assess how this related to his saddle fit and way of going.
It really highlighted how valuable it is when the professionals surrounding a horse communicate and work together as a team.
Clifford is now trialling a saddle for the next week while we continue his schooling, giving us the opportunity to see how he feels and works in it rather than rushing such an important decision.
Megan will then be back with us after the trial period to recheck and reassess Clifford, see how he's been getting on and help us decide on the next step.

Thank you Megan for being so thorough, patient and genuinely wanting to find the right solution for him. It was an absolute pleasure working alongside you today.
We're also very excited about some ideas we've been discussing for the future… 👀 Watch this space!

Getting ready for Autumn at Wild Equestrian 🍂🐴

With the seasons beginning to change, we're starting to get the rugs out and getting organised for those cooler, wetter days ahead.
