I’ve never had a good relationship with food and for as long as I can remember it’s been all or nothing for me.
I’m either being really “good” or I’ve completely lost it.
Binge then restrict. Restrict then binge 🙈 then I promise myself Monday will be different… and round I go again 😂
It’s exhausting and I know I’m not the only one. So many of you sit in our treatment rooms and tell us the same thing.
Someone I’ve recently been talking to told me about her programme Liberate the Emotion, Release the Weight so I signed up straight away.
It’s for anyone who eats when they’re not hungry, anyone stuck in emotional eating or dieting, anyone who has changed their weight but still struggles with food or how they see their body and anyone who is tired of using shame to motivate themselves.

There’s a moment during a massage when you can feel someone finally start to relax.
Their shoulders soften, their breathing slows and they stop trying to help you move their arms because they’ve realised they don’t need to do anything.
We know it’s not always easy to switch off. You might spend the first few minutes thinking about what you need to do when you get home or remembering something you forgot to do before you left.
But slowly you settle and for once there is nothing you need to organise, nobody asking you for anything and nowhere else you need to be.
It’s one of our favourite parts of what we do. Seeing someone who arrived feeling tense and rushed allow themselves to be looked after.
