Emotional day at THAT today as we say see you soon to one of our original THAT girls Hair by Rachael Louise , who is officially off on maternity leave 🥹🤍

We are going to miss you SO much! You’ve been part of THAT basically from the beginning and it won’t be the same without you behind the chair.

But now… it’s time for life to get a little bit chaotic as you go from 2 beautiful children to 3 😳

We have a chair becoming available at THAT Hair Salon, Sandbach, and we’re looking for a modern, trend-led self-employed stylist to join our team.

At THAT, everyone is self-employed. There’s no manager hovering over you, no hierarchy and no one telling you how to run your business.

You run your business. We provide the space to do it in.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about current hair trends, loves creating beautiful work and wants to build their own business within an established salon.

You’ll probably be a great fit if you:

• Keep up with current hair trends and techniques
• Have a particular passion for colour, blonding, lived-in colour or cutting
• Are confident, friendly and self-motivated
• Enjoy creating content and building your own presence on social media
• Already have a clientele, or are ambitious about growing one
• Take pride in your work and your surroundings
• Want independence while still being part of a friendly salon environment
• Are looking for somewhere you can settle and grow your business

This is not an employed position. You’ll be running your own business, managing your own clients and diary, with the freedom that comes with being self-employed.

So yeah we work together… 😂

The girls organised a weekend away for my 40th and I don’t think any of us quite realised how much fun we’d have.

It started beautifully wholesome. We arrived at the house, massages had been booked, everyone was very civilised…

Then I went for my massage and all the feral came out. 😂

W**e.
Gin.
Chinese.
Music getting progressively louder.
Drunk paintings of each other which should probably never see the light of day.

Me and Liv eventually went to bed at about 4am, keeping Tash, Perri and Rach awake in the process. Sorry girls. 🫣

The next morning was a lovely little trip to Windermere for a boat ride… complete with getting lost, booking Ubers because apparently walking in a straight line was beyond us and generally being very hungover.

Out for tea in a lovely little Italian and then came the accidental birthday cake.

We’d just finished our meal and the waitress started walking a birthday cake over to our table, singing Happy Birthday, so obviously the girls joined in and I sat there nice and embarrassed…

…only for them to realise they’d got the wrong table and take the cake away. 😂😂😂

We then found a bar with its own karaoke machine, got given free shots, put on our own music and had an absolute blast.

Obviously we then needed to go dancing.

Because apparently we’re still 21.

And somewhere between the karaoke, the questionable paintings, the dancing and Get Low by Lil Jon being played approximately 47 times, we realised something…

We actually love hanging out with each other.

Not just working together.

Not just having a laugh in the salon.

We genuinely enjoy each other’s company.

And honestly, I think that’s one of the best things about THAT.

We’re basically just a group of mates who happen to be bloody good hairdressers. ❤️

I can’t believe it’s nearly been one year since I moved to my new salon space!
