Throughout October, we’ll be focusing on menopause — and more specifically, the impact this journey can have on our hair. 🤍
We also want to hear from real women with real stories. If you’ve experienced changes to your hair during perimenopause or menopause and would be happy to share your experience, please drop us a DM.

When a little goes a hella long way….
This lovely lady was so fed up of her thin hair. We said good bye to those ends by adding just 48grams of hair in 12” using Remi Cachet Hair Extensions nano weft shade #2. 💕

Lifting the hood on a weave fitting….
Remi Cachet Hair Extensions flat weft in a shade literally made for our client 7T55/60 🙌🏼 we used a flat weft 16” 100grams.

This is our lovely Terry. 🥹🤍 she always looks so fabulous.
She’s been visiting the salon for a good few years now and has very bravely and kindly allowed me to take a little snapshot of her before and after maintenance appointment today, knowing that sharing her images could help others who may be living with this form of alopecia. 🙏🏼
Terry has Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia (FFA) — a type of scarring alopecia that typically causes a gradually receding hairline around the front and sides of the scalp. It can also cause thinning or loss of the eyebrows.
Terry wears one of our bespoke lace integration systems, which is worn permanently, with maintenance needed typically every 5-6 weeks. Just like hair extensions. In fact this is just hair extensions, just fit a differently 🤩

FFA TRANSFORMATION
Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia (FFA) can cause significant hair loss around the hairline, often resulting in the hairline receding quite severely. It can also affect the eyebrows and eyelashes, making it an incredibly difficult type of hair loss to experience. 🤍
For this lovely lady, we created a completely bespoke hair system to give her back a natural-looking hairline from ear to ear. And the extra bonus is she can now wear her hair UP without worrying about exposing any hair loss🥹
The system is worn permanently, so she can sleep, shower, exercise and live everyday life in it, with maintenance appointments in the salon approximately every 5–6 weeks. She looks absolutely amazing 🥹
