As Palooza weekend starts, & I forget people won't know what that is....its our company's annual "conference" with a meeting in every country's market...an event to bring the sales field together in a huge way, with trainings and breakout sessions from the top leaders and beauty industry greats..a time to meet fellow beauty guides and leaders, work together, see new product releases, and to reward the hard work of beauty guides....again this year it is virtual so I have not yet got to attend a physical one..the excitement amongst beauty guides is palpable as the whole year builds up to this.

What I wanted to say upon reflection of my first year at LimeLife by Alcone is this.....

I joined in the Middle of one of the world's biggest events, the pandemic. I struggled in lockdown with the whole thing quite badly at times. It messed with my head a lot..limelife gave me a place to go everyday virtually, with trainings and zooms and our team chat groups..at the time I wasn't that bothered about sales...I thrived on having that focus...I had found my "tribe"...being part of an American team gave me lots of team members with interesting lives to find out about and have their take on things..

In the process I believe I have become more confident both in front of the mirror and in my skills..(can't fail with the Industry training we have access to).

I have a community that is not just about sales and targets and commission..I feel like I belong and wake up every day excited to see what's happening. I am slowly, and slightly late in life, becoming the butterfly I should be!

Looking forward to seeing what the next 6 months of the year bring, have reset my goals and determination, and can't wait to see what Palooza brings.

My why has changed slightly now, to include working hard enough to be able to treat my grandaughter and set her up, as well as make sure my kids are set up, and to contribute to our retirement!

Along the way I want to help and empower other women to be the best version of themselves, no matter what age, to teach them to use makeup and skincare as an enhancing asset, not a cover up! To leave them with the confidence to hold their heads high and stick the fingers up at the world if it has treated them badly. I want to give a team of women the power and ability to run their own business, side hustle, side gig, empire...whatever they choose..to give them the freedom to pay their bills, get the little luxuries, and have a flexible timetable for their families!

Limelife is so much more than makeup and skincare, it's a tribe, a community, a collective, One Fempire!!

Next year, or even in 5 years, I would love my name and picture to be in the award photo frame..!!! Who is going to ride alongside me on this journey?? I'm both excited and nervous beyond measure for the possibilities ahead....
