A few weeks ago someone asked...

"So... are you medical?"

I smiled and said "I am not medical, no"

Often people walk in with an assumption that I am, and I very quickly and clearly correct them. Some people are fine with that, some people are not and I completely respect everyone's right to preference, I regularly refer potential clients to medics in the area once I'm aware of that preference.

I don't respect being put down and b*tched about for being a "none medic"

I'm a non-medic but...

The large majority of my clients are medical professionals. I'm trusted repeatedly by nurses, paramedics, midwives and doctors wives to complete their injectable treatments.

I've trained Doctors and Nurses in aesthetics -
Do with that - what you will.

I know how to have a laugh with my clients but when the scrubs are on and we're talking about your treatment and your safety - you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

I take this seriously, it's my full time job, it's my reputation, it's your results and I don't negotiate that for anything.

I had to work 10 times harder. I had to spend thousands more. I had to excel in education and work to be the best I could be, every single day. Because in an industry where non-medics are constantly pulled down, I refused to be a statistic, a danger or someone who wasn't taken seriously.
