There are moments during a treatment where I naturally close my eyes.

Not because I’m switching off, but because I’m tuning in.

When I remove the distraction of sight, I become more aware of what I can feel beneath my hands. The tension, the tiny changes in the muscles, the rhythm of your breathing, the moments where your body begins to soften.

For me, a treatment isn’t about simply following a routine. It’s about being completely present with the person in front of me.

Every movement is intentional. Every touch is guided by what I’m feeling in that moment.

I think that’s where the real connection happens. When someone feels truly seen, cared for, and safe enough to let go.

Slowing down isn’t something we’re taught to value, yet it’s often what we need the most.

During my facials, there’s no rushing to the next step. Here the jelly mask is left to do its work while you have a few uninterrupted moments to simply be. To breathe a little deeper, let your shoulders soften, and allow your mind to quieten.

In a world that constantly asks us to do more, choosing to slow down is a form of self-care. Sometimes the greatest benefit of a treatment isn’t just how your skin feels afterwards… it’s how you feel 🧡

Lily had just come back from holiday, so we started with a beautiful double cleanse using ESPA’s cleansing balm followed by their foaming cleanser.
