Lauren first came to me for matching friendship tattoos, then trusted me again, and now we’re three tattoos in!

This appointment was even more fun because, she casually mentioned a little neck tattoo she’d been thinking about…

Challenge accepted.

Within the hour we’d stencilled it up, positioned it and brought it to life.

I absolutely love moments like that. Sometimes the spontaneous ideas become the favourites.

This tattoo hit home.

Mental health struggles—anxiety in particular—can creep up on you out of nowhere. It shows itself in so many different ways: overthinking, a racing heart, sweating, chest pain, nausea, shaking, breathing difficulties, silence, retreating from the world… the list is endless.

I, too, have struggled with my mental health from a very young age, so this tattoo resonated deeply with me. Mental illness is one of the most common invisible battles, yet so many people become experts at hiding it behind a smile.

That’s why kindness matters so much.

Even on the days when you’re tired, stressed, irritable or in a hurry, choose kindness. You never truly know what it has taken for someone to simply walk out of their front door, or how your words—or your silence—might impact them.

If you can choose to be anything in this world… choose to be kind.

This delicate tattoo is far more than beautiful script and a butterfly. It represents courage, hope, resilience, and incredible strength.

What fun, vibrant friends!

Friends since the 6th grade, these two have shared a lifetime of memories, laughter and adventures together.

I absolutely loved listening as they explained the meaning behind their matching tattoos. Their chosen design reflects exactly who they are: sunflowers, dancing & wine… sounds like fun to me!

It was such a joy to create something so bright, meaningful and beautifully personal for two wonderful women.

From “I’d never even thought about having a tattoo”… to “I’ll definitely be back for more.”

I thoroughly enjoy being a part of Louise’s journey. She is an absolute hoot and such a loyal, regular client!

Louise originally came to me for her brows. She wanted more colour and definition, and our brow journey was one we took slow and steady. We now have a monthly appointment where we tint and neaten up her brows.

And then, the shocker! She told me she wanted a tattoo! And oh my, how excited I was!

One little tattoo above the ankle followed… then a beautiful piece on her upper arm… and apparently we’re not finished yet!

THE BUG HAS BITTEN!

What I particularly love about Louise’s words is what she says about loving the artwork as much as the personal meaning it holds for her.

Because that is exactly what I want my tattoos to be.

Something beautiful to look at, absolutely! But, something that belongs to you. Your people, your memories, your milestones, your story.

A bouquet for new chapters.

A little reminder that choosing yourself, loving yourself and beginning again can be beautiful things.

Soft, delicate and created to represent growth, self-love and all the chapters still waiting to be written.

Two daughters. One mum. Their story, beautifully told.

Jess and Eva each gave their mum something completely their own, a little drawing of their name and a heart, ready to be permanently inked onto her arm.

Jess’s handwriting has been kept just as she wrote it, while Eva’s name has been tattooed in Braille, a particularly meaningful detail as Eva is sight impaired.

Their handwriting. Their little hearts. Their mum’s arm. Forever.

I absolutely loved bringing this one together. Such a simple collection of tiny tattoos, but with so much meaning behind every single mark.

It was a genuine honour to be trusted with this beautiful little family story. x
