MUA TATTOO COVER UP - north Lincolnshire 📍
I had a lovely lady come to me for a tattoo cover up trial for her wedding whilst waiting for laser! 😄
This is something different on the makeup scene & this is exactly what I learnt on tv and film 🎥 makeup!
I loved having something different in my studio I’m hoping to see many more of you for these types of things 🙏🏽✨🎥

BODY PAINT / ART
back in college this was something I worked on to give a movie / theatre style piece of work! 🎨
This is never something I usually showcased on my page but it’s something Iv always managed to do / create & learning this skill helped me in my makeup career massively when it come to becoming characters / body paint 🧟♀️ 
I was Out of town in college, working on some TV-style body paint, and we turned our model into Wonder Woman using nothing but paint and a costume.
Body paint is more than makeup, its storytelling on skin.
Makeup artists use it because it lets us create illusions, characters, and entire worlds that move and breathe. It’s art that becomes alive.
I’m definitely going to hold masterclasses on this, tutorials & training! 🥰
Im looking for inspiration for my next character or body paint idea!

DID YOU KNOW? Famous films like the grinch & the MASK with Jim Carrey Used prosthetics?
Why do MUAS move into this field of applying these?
What they create? The potential they have?
Why professional movie sets & famous music stars use these on set 🎬
The difference between flat SFX & shading to 3D work…
🎬 1. Movie Magic: Prosthetics turn actors into monsters, aliens, or totally new people!
🧠 2. Realistic Illusions: Made from silicone or latex to look like real skin or wounds.
💀 3. Time-Travel Makeup: Can age or de-age actors in minutes (well… hours).
👽 4. Creature Makers: Famous monsters like Predator and the Grinch were all prosthetics!
🖌️ 5. Hours of Art: Some looks take 6–8 hours to apply!
🎨 6. Art + Science: SFX artists mix creativity, anatomy, and chemistry.
🧤 7. Real Reactions: Prosthetics make scenes feel more real than CGI.
They create an entire movie level look & I have to say as an MUA I LOVE them!

Previous prosthetic work, these really create a character / monster to come alive!
Same with cuts and wounds the 3D appeal is much more realistic & finish’s off these kinds of looks!🎬
