What is Red Light Therapy?
Red light therapy — also known as photobiomodulation or low-level laser therapy — uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to pe*****te the skin and stimulate cellular repair. The light is absorbed by mitochondria within cells, increasing energy production and activating the body’s natural healing responses.

Unlike UV light, red light does not damage the skin and is considered safe for regular use under clinical supervision.

What to Expect
Sessions take place at our Seaham clinic and typically last 10–20 minutes. You will be positioned in front of a panel of red and near-infrared LEDs at a safe, clinically-appropriate intensity. No preparation is required and there is no downtime after treatment.

Most clients notice improvement after a course of sessions rather than a single treatment. Our clinical team can advise on the appropriate number of sessions based on your goals.
