Never thought I would ever have to write this but unfortunately it has come to it.

Please research about the treatment you are booking yourself in for, because you had a treatment at another salon doesn’t mean you are to expect the same result at mine. We use different tints, diffrent solutions, different techniques etc. I cannot stress enough that when booking a brow tint you must be fully aware this tints your brow hair, this does not stain your skin and fill in gaps where there is no brow hair. If you want to achieve a more fuller look, hybrid is your best option. Which I am happy to use a hybrid to create the perfect set of brows for every client if they feel they may want the sparse areas filled in.

As a small business, I thrive off giving back to customers, providing a safe & friendly environment and ensuring every client leaves happy and confident with their result. After EVERY treatment I always say “if there is anything you’d like changing please do let me know” that is your chance to politely tell me if you want more tint or would possibly like to try a stain. I am always more than happy to extend our time and make sure I provide the brows the client is looking for.

However, I draw the line when it comes to very passive aggressive comments about my gender, questioning my qualifications and if I am even qualified, being made to feel like I’m doing something wrong from the very beginning and being told my work is an “absolute mess” and also belittling my business that “nobody has even heard of me or know who I am” That is when I take a step back, and will point blank refuse to do anything more on your eyebrows. I think what’s absolutely disgusting to me, is that this person could physically see she was causing alot of distress and I was starting to have a severe panic attack, which resulted in me walking out onto the shop floor breaking my heart because I was humiliated and belittled. I don’t like to share my personal life, but I’ve actually been seen by multiple therapists and still ongoing care by professionals dealing with my anxiety & depression whilst battling some of the darkest days, I still show up and give it my all and make sure my clients are priority. Take this a lesson to think before you speak, words can really hurt and damage someone. I’m not just a member of staff, I am someone’s Child, someone’s brother, someone’s uncle and someone’s bestfriend… you never truly know what someone is going through.

To the person who thought this was a great idea to be so rude and passive aggressive, I truly hope you sleep better at night knowing you caused a 19 year old (20 tomorrow btw, thanks for ruining the birthday also) to have a severe panic. Maybe think before you speak, because in a world where you can be anything. Be kind🩵

I’m taking a step back from social media for the weekend, and will respond to messages Sunday & Monday. This has taken a huge toll on me and I want to take a step back and enjoy my birthday with the ones I love the most.
