You don’t realise how heavy grief is…
until your body finally lets a little bit of it go 🤍

6 weeks ago, when I started Halo 17…
one of the very first acts of kindness was for me.

Grace Kate from Gracious Contours reached out and said,

Because grief doesn’t just break your heart…
it lives in your body.

In the exhaustion you can’t shake.
The tight chest.
The constant heaviness.
The way you’re carrying something every second of the day.

On Saturday I had a lymphatic drainage massage…
and I’ve never experienced anything like it.

It was calm.
It was emotional.
It was release.

For a moment… my body felt lighter.
Like it could finally breathe.

Not healed.
Not fixed.
But softer… and not carrying quite as much.

I didn’t even realise how much my body was holding on to…
until it started to let go.
