My goal is never to change your face. It’s just knowing when to stop so everything still feels familiar, just more lifted and balanced.

I’ll let you in on a little conspiracy… a lot of my most regular clients started as Mothers of the Bride who were nervous about having their makeup done, and now they’re some of the people I see most often 💕.

A little note on bookings

To make life easier for us and appointments more accessible, I take all occasion makeup bookings through my online system only, where my live availability is posted 4 month in advance. (Bridal bookings can be made via my website)

Messages about availability are no longer picked up.

Appointments do fill up 4 months in advance, so if you have a date in mind it's absolutely worth checking sooner rather than later. Unfortunately If your preferred slot isn't there, that does mean it's already been taken or isn't available.

The most radiant person inside and out

For Melissa’s bridal makeup, the focus was fresh, radiant skin and makeup that felt like her. She’s actually wearing the tiniest amount of foundation here, mixed into skincare to keep the finish sheer and skin-like. Just enough to refine and even out the complexion without masking it, it would be criminal with skin like that.

That’s always my approach with bridal makeup. Working with your natural features and enhancing them in a way that still feels effortless and looks like you, but always elevated.

The bridal industry has pushed this idea for years that your wedding makeup has to be heavier. Truthfully, that isn’t always the case. If your priority is for the makeup itself to stand out in professional photos, especially with flash and strong lighting, then yes, more product and more structure can help it translate on camera.

But if your priority is to still look like you, with skin that looks like skin in real life and in photos, then heavier doesn’t automatically mean better. It comes down to the finish you want, the coverage you’re comfortable in, and how you want to feel when you look back at yourself. Your wedding makeup should be built around you, not around outdated rules.

• LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF •

Hi, I’m Victoria.

I’ve been freelancing in makeup since I was 19. What started as a creative outlet quickly became something much more intentional. By 2015, I realised the heavy, trend led makeup that was everywhere just didn’t feel like me. I didn’t want my clients to look like a walking canvas of my ‘art’. I wanted them to walk into a room and have people think, “wow, she’s beautiful,” not “wow, her makeup is good.”

That shift is what led me into bridal makeup.

I create makeup that doesn’t wear you. The kind that still looks good in real life, not just on Instagram. My signature style is soft where it needs to be, with intentional pops of structure and drama. The way red carpet glam is styled to work with the dress, the lighting, and the cameras, every detail has a reason.

Back then, paying as much attention as I did to the skin before makeup wasn’t standard practice. And it didn’t feel fair to send my brides to someone else and expect them to also worry about how treatments and ingredients would affect makeup performance. So I decided to take that knowledge and train as a facialist, so I could manage every detail and make sure the end result was exactly what we both envisioned.

Although I take my job seriously, I don’t take myself seriously. My perfect wedding morning is down to earth, full of laughs, and feeling like I’ve known you for years. I’ll fill any awkward silence, I hate egos, and sometimes I meet someone for the second time and realise I already overshared my whole life the first time… usually after they make a Henry VIII reference.
