Elite Nails

With a very heavy heart, and after a lot of thought and consideration, I wanted to share that I will be hanging up my acrylic brush. 🤍🥺

This decision is truly breaking my heart, but I know deep down I am doing it for the right reasons. Becoming a nail technician and building such incredible relationships with my clients has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my life. Every set of nails, every conversation, every laugh, and every story shared has meant more to me than I can ever put into words. I have truly loved every single person whose nails I’ve had the privilege of painting.

This opportunity came completely out of the blue — I wasn’t looking for a new role at all. However, when I was offered a full-time position in a career that I genuinely love, it was an opportunity I simply couldn’t turn down. That doesn’t make this choice any easier — it has been emotional and upsetting, especially when I think about letting so many people down. Please know this decision has not been taken lightly at all; it’s something I need to do for myself and my family as I step into a new chapter of my life.

My last working day as a full-time nail technician will be Saturday 14th February. Any appointments booked after this date will be cancelled, as I will no longer be working on the salon floor.

I also want to reassure everyone that I am still in partnership with Leeann at Sister Sister, just moving into more of a behind-the-scenes role. I’ll still be around and will pop in from time to time, so this isn’t goodbye.

Although Leeann and Shannon are both still in the business, they are extremely busy with their own loyal client bases and may not be able to accommodate additional appointments. I also kindly ask that you do not use the booking system to book with Leeann — please message her directly first, as she is currently full to capacity with her own clients.

When you want Christmas early. Well why not. With these beautiful dainty Xmas design nails for gingerbreads were my worst fear, I could never do them and would avoid them at all costs. But put my big girl pants on, faced my fear and my lovely client was non the wiser lol. Gingerbreads and candy canes! Well why not.

It’s beginning to look like Christmas. Not quite there but it’s cooling down, the temp dropping and it’s the season to start seeing some snow. Even if this is the only snow flakes we see this winter I’ll be happy. Just love how the new winter collection of halo colours blend! 💅

I feel totally honoured to create these beautiful remembrance nails to honour .tte0307 son Bradley Parks-Duckett.
Janette come every year for her poppy nails and this year we went bigger and better. Creating these hand drawn design nails brought tears to janettes eyes. Although it was very emotional to see I felt so proud she allowed me to do this for her. Thank you Bradley lest we forget !!
