📣 ANNOUNCEMENT 📣
Hi Everyone,
I’m struggling to put into words, exactly how I feel about writing this post. For 6 years, and some before that I have created some of the most beautiful hair for some of the most incredible people I have ever met.
Lately I have found myself in a constant battle between where I want POISE to go and the position it has in my life. Unfortunately I find myself in a place where I simply can no longer balance all of the plates I am spinning. I have had to make the most difficult decision ever to take a step back from POISE.
As some of you know I have struggled with this decision for a very long time. My clients mean the world to me, and I am always blown away by your unwavering loyalty and support.
Many people fail to understand what it takes to start, grow, and continually nurture your own business. You’re the trainee, the admin, the receptionist, the marketing department, the stylist, the accountant, the stock taker, the researcher and the developer. All while trying to be Wife, Mother, homemaker. Never feeling as though you’re giving 100% to anything and the constant guilt that brings. It’s quite frankly EXHAUSTING and I just simply have no more to give. I came down ill again early on this week and it has given me time to reflect on this decision. It’s time to put my family first and try to create more space where they’re prioritised.
This really is the hardest post to compose. I will start to scale back all working hours from October where my diary does look to start to quieten down. I will only be working Saturdays beyond September 30th. I currently have clients booked until the end of January 2024 and I will honour all appointments already booked where you wish to keep those appointments but I completely understand if you wish to find a new stylist.
I just want to thank each and every single one of you for keeping me so busy, and supporting me through Covid and many other things along the way. I’ve watched some of you become first time mums and some of you third time mums. I’ve watched you get married, engaged start new chapters/adventures and you all will have a special place in my heart 🤍

The shine and blend on these 20” hair extensions are to die for! 180 Nano rings fitted and finished with soft loose waves.
I only have some small availability for August (new clients only) existing clients we have your dates in.

One of my favourite things to do is to help my clients brighten up their hair without the use of harsh chemicals. We used 5 different shades here to create this beautiful blonde for getting her Ibiza ready. 👙☀️

Long hair is having a moment lately… 24” of weave 😍 my clients hair is fragile at the ends from previous over processing. We used a 180g remi cachet weave to give her this beautiful balayage look without the use of nasty chemicals. We’re on our growth journey, and I can’t wait to see where we get to.

We added 175g of Indian Remy hair in 16” to complete this look for my client, we brightened the overall look with some additional blonde to frame the face and blend her money piece.
I am now fully booked for June ladies, if you have a maintenance due in July/ August please message me as July is also filling fast. I will be on holiday from the 28th May until 4th June and unable to pick up messages during this time.

Just two rows of 18” weave in 3 shades to thicken and brighten already long locks.
Ladies if you have long natural hair that would be amazing if it were just a little thicker then a weave is the answer. Fitted in an hour styled and finished easy peasy. Maintenance every 6/8 weeks.

Mel is on her second set of hair extensions with me, her first set lasted around two years. This was because Mel attended all of her maintenance and followed the aftercare I advised. Extensions are an investment ladies, and they pay dividends if you look after them.
Good aftercare is 90% of good extensions. All of my clients are advised on what products to use in my aftercare leaflet. It’s down to the client to actually use them 😘

You girls love to challenge me from time to time, and I have two of these beauties coming up. 🧡
It’s no secret I am a copper lover, the shine and vibrancy of copper is stunning with extensions. However colour matching can be a nightmare, throw a sexy little bob in there and it’s a job and a half.
We matched my clients hair to the closest possible copper shade we had available and added 14” Nano rings to give her length and something to play with.
Choosing the right length hair for the client is an absolute must if you want the extensions to remain discreet. 20” hair on this client is an absolute no no. This is not for the faint hearted my client will really have to persevere with her hair and her colour in order to grow it beyond the awkward bob stage into long lovely locks. She will use colour conditioners and toners to maintain the vibrancy of her hair and with regular maintenance we will really see some progress in length over the next few months. 😍🥰
