Another milestone passed on the road to recovery.
Today all of my walking aids and other ancillary items were returned to Medequip.
The house no longer resembles a care home.

As April 12th approaches, all of my barber and hairdressing friends will be busting a gut to get back at it. So am I, but don’t leave your preparations too late as I am expecting to be very busy myself.
Call me to arrange a COVID safe visit.

Update on our travelling friend.

A customer of mine sadly gave him her Matsuzaki scissors to sharpen, these were her pride and joy and had given her good service.

They were returned to her in an unusable condition. Regrettably the scissors were ruined. She only gave him her scissors after being told that he had bought the business from myself. She had been waiting for me to call at the salon and I'm confident that she would not have passed her scissors to him if she knew I was still trading.

I have no qualms about customers who need their scissors sharpening and if the opportunity arises to have your scissors sharpened properly and I am not available then please do.

But, please be aware that there is the possibility your scissors may not get sharpened the same standard.

I have had other competitors in the past, they come and they go.
Hopefully there will not be any more sad stories to tell.

It has come to my attention, that a third party of the travelling persuasion has been visiting salons in the Hull area.

He has been telling Salons that I have a) retired or b) sold my business to him.

Both are not true.

Please let other Barbers/Hairdressers know that I intend to be around and about for a wee while longer yet
