I’m doing something I never thought I’d do — I’m shaving my head! ✂️

And what better way to do it than on New Year’s Eve, ending one year and starting the next with a very bold new look and, hopefully, raising lots of money for an incredibly important cause along the way.

I haven’t chosen to do this for one particular person. I’m doing it for all of them.
For my loved ones.
For my family.
For my friends.
For people I’ve never met.
For those currently fighting.
For those who have fought and won.
For those we have sadly lost.
And for every single person whose life has been changed by cancer in some way.

Cancer doesn’t discriminate. At some point, most of us will know someone whose world has been turned upside down by it. And although I can’t change what has already happened, I can do something small to stand beside those people and help make a difference.

Anyone who knows me knows I’m bubbly and probably not one to shy away from making a bold move😂 — so shaving my head feels like the perfect way to put all of that energy towards something that really matters.

Will I be nervous? Absolutely.
Will I probably question my life choices when the clippers come out? Almost certainly. 😂
Will I be freezing afterwards? Without a doubt! 🥶

But if losing my hair for a while can help raise money, awareness and hope for people affected by cancer, then I’ll happily take the plunge.
