Hair health journey - back to full head blonde!

This client had been through a colour change and back again, hair had not been in the best condition so Ellie advised a hair care routine and went longer in between foiling appointments to improve hair health.

Now hair feels so much better and so Ellie was able to do a full head of foils to achieve this clients ultimate Summer blonde!

To help with a seamless regrowth Ellie opted for a dark ash blonde similar to natural roots in between ultra lift bleach. This creates dimension and allows a longer time in between foiling appointments.

Express foils and regrowth colour with Ellie

This client comes in for regular regrowth appointments but her foils are only completed twice a year, once in the Summer and then in the Winter.

After finishing the colour Ellie cut half an inch off the length and Jess then blow dried smooth.

This client hadn’t had a full head for over a year, however she did come in August 2025 for a TBar to top up the regrowth. This just proves how well the colour lasts and how nicely it all grows out, this is what you invest in when you have your hair completed by a hair professional. 💕

Jess’s client has been on a colour correction journey. It started with a dark box dye just before Christmas. 12 weeks ago she had her first blonding appointment which achieved these before photos.

This time Jess’s aim was to cancel out some of the warmer banding, create a more even colour and lift a level or two higher whilst maintaining the health of the hair.

Jess used a variety of blonde mixtures opting for both MPlex (softer option and better for pre-lightened hair in this case) and ultra lift (with different vols where necessary). Low and slow and with constant watching!

Finished with a root smudge for easy maintenance and soft grow out, and toned with very light, ash and cool beige blonde to achieve as neutral as possible. Finished with a maintenance cut and blow dry.

The client was so happy with this gorgeous progress. It is fantastic because she understands this is a process, and is happy to be patient to ensure her hair remains healthy whilst achieving her ultimate buttery blonde in the end.

From light to dark and back again.

Last year this client was super blonde and then made the leap to the dark side, she loved this for a while, but now the sun is out and she is missing the blonde.

Honestly this is so relatable and such a common request. There is no judgement here we all do the same!

Ellie loves a challenge and enjoys supporting her clients to achieve anything they want to with their hair. However, listening to her advice is a must, and in this case Ellie was happy to achieve lighter, but needed to support hair health as well.

Doing a strand test she knew the hair was not in the condition to achieve the blonde her client had previously, but would achieve a beautiful starter blonde.

This client has stubborn-lift hair and so a multitude of ultra lift bleach mixtures were required throughout. During the process she covered the warmer tones present with an ash mixture. Then toned all over with light ash, gold and cool beige blonde. Finished with a smooth blow dry.

Taking the hair back to one length with some layers for easier styling and movement.

Extension removal, maintenance cut, express foils and weave refit with Ellie

Ellie completed express foils to help blend the extensions better and add brightness.

This clients hair had grown a lot since her last appointment and so to encourage this further, Ellie cut off some length creating healthy ends. She then refitted the weave, curled the natural hair to blend with the already curled hair extensions.
