I get so many enquiries from clients who don’t necessarily have year round facials , but will decide they want to book in for facial as a “treat” before they go on holiday .
This is the advice I offer …..
😎Pre- Holiday Facial :
If you have an event such as a wedding or something that will occur whilst you’re on holiday then obviously it’s massively beneficial as there’ll be photos etc so you want your skin to be at its best .
OR
Do you see a facial purely as a “pamper ” or a “treat” and it’s something that you consider the icing on the cake for your holiday prep and you may not necessarily have another facial all year ….then go for it !!

😎Post -Holiday Facial
For me as a skin expert this is where it’s at 🙌…
Basically most holidays we indulge, we spend time in the elements exposing our skin- basically we hammer the s**t out of it no matter how good we are with SPF, skincare etc .
Regular holidays involve air travel, alcohol, sun/snow , sand, sea , sweat SPF , wind, outdoor elements- these all take huge tolls on our skin - think mild sand blasting and dehydration on a daily basis 😳.
If we’re travelling on limited baggage we can’t manage to take all our chosen skincare (although my clients get given enough samples to help last 😊)
For me, if it’s a regular holiday - not involving any big events then I will always advise you to save your facial until you get back.
I will help to rebuild your skin and undo much of the damage you’ve unknowingly incurred 😃
If someone wants to book a course of treatments, we’ll always start after any holidays.
Of course, if you have regular facials , such as monthly then it’s winner winner chicken dinner as you’ll get one pre and post holiday so no worries on that front, you’re all good 👍.
It’s hard enough having the post holiday blues once we’re back to the grind, but if you’re skins glowing and radiant , as opposed to patchy, pigmented and parched - that’s gonna make you feel a whole lot better .

Saturday night spent devising a Letterbox Facial for a gorgeous client who I usually see every month in person .
I’ve created her a “Kick up The Arse” Letterbox Facial 😁 as she’s missed a few facials due to 🦠 and her skin is showing she’s missed them too 🤣she won’t mind me saying that( plus she sent me a photo so I know )
I know what her skin responds well to as I’ve been treating her for years which for me as a therapist is fab …as it means I can send her products to use in her own facial that are a little more “stimulating” shall we say 🥵 than I would usually put in a Letterbox Facial so she’ll be looking glowing and radiant in time for Santa!
