1st event of the season

This is not a post we as a committee wanted to be writing, however we are having to cancel the event for this year due to the projected weather forecast.

Safety of all reenactors, traders, volunteers and public comes first and foremost. With winds of upto 50mph forecast for Saturday, and rain for Fridays set up and Saturday, we cannot afford to risk going ahead with this event.

As Harry's family and friends, this is not a decision we have made easily as it is an event in his name. But we know this is the right decision.
We sincerely apologise for any disappointment and inconvenience caused to all those due to attend. We hope you understand our decision.

We will meet up, arrange a new date and we will be back for 2026. Keep your eyes pealed for our new date.
