💙 Client reviews like this mean the world to me 💙
A huge thank you to Gayna for taking the time to leave such a lovely review. I’m so grateful for your kind words.
I know that booking in for a colonic can feel quite daunting for many people, especially if it’s your first treatment and you’re feeling nervous or unsure about what to expect. That’s exactly why I work hard to create a warm, welcoming and relaxed environment where you can feel completely at ease.
At Colon Clinic – A New U, Sheffield, every appointment is tailored to the individual. I take time to listen, answer your questions, explain everything clearly, and make sure you feel comfortable throughout.
My treatments are always client-led, with absolutely no pressure or obligation to book further sessions. My goal is simply to support you on your gut health journey in a safe, professional and caring setting.
If you’ve been struggling with bloating, constipation, sluggish digestion, IBS symptoms, or simply want to improve your gut health, please feel free to get in touch. Even if you just want to ask questions, I’m always happy to help.

🚨 Hernia Awareness Matters 🚨
Did you know there are several different types of hernias, each affecting the body in different ways?
From inguinal and femoral hernias to hiatal and umbilical hernias, understanding the signs can help you seek medical advice early and avoid complications.
Common symptoms may include:
✔️ A visible lump or swelling
✔️ Discomfort or pain when lifting, coughing, or bending
✔️ Pressure, heaviness, or burning sensations
✔️ Digestive discomfort (especially with hiatal hernias)
Early awareness is key. While not every hernia is an emergency, some can become serious if left untreated.
At RICTAT – International Colonic Association, we believe education empowers better health choices. Understanding the body helps both practitioners and clients recognise when further medical support may be needed.

💧 Drinking plenty of water but still feeling tired, sluggish, or dehydrated? 💧
With the warmer weather, it’s so important to stay hydrated—but hydration is about more than simply drinking water. It’s also about helping your body absorb and use that water effectively.
Here are some simple ways to support hydration during hot weather:
💦 Drink little and often
Sip water regularly throughout the day rather than drinking large amounts all at once.
🍉 Choose water-rich foods
Foods such as watermelon, cucumber, berries, oranges, and leafy greens can all help increase hydration naturally.
🍋 Add natural flavour
Try adding lemon, lime, mint, or berries to your water to make it more refreshing and easier to drink.
🧂 Try Celtic sea salt
A few grains on your tongue, allow it to melt, then drink a cup of water. This can help support hydration by encouraging water into your cells.
Good hydration can help support:
✔️ Energy levels
✔️ Digestion
✔️ Gut health
✔️ Reduced fatigue and headaches
By the time you feel thirsty, your body may already be dehydrated—so don’t wait for thirst as your only signal.
Take care of yourself in this heat, stay cool, and keep supporting your gut health ☀️💙

✨ Your safety, comfort, and dignity will always be my priority ✨
One concern many people have before booking colonic hydrotherapy is hygiene—and rightly so.
I believe every client should feel completely confident in the standards of cleanliness and care they receive, which is why at A New U Colon Clinic, I maintain the highest hygiene standards for every single treatment.
My name is Erica Hartley, and as a RICTAT Registered Colonic Hydrotherapist, I am committed to delivering treatments in a safe, professional, and respectful environment.
For every client, every session, I use:
✔️ Single-use disposable speculums
✔️ Single-use tubing
✔️ Single-use gloves
✔️ Single-use INCO pads
✔️ Single-use couch roll
In addition, each client is provided with a freshly laundered fleece to place around their waist, helping preserve modesty and ensuring comfort throughout the treatment.
I understand that colonic hydrotherapy can feel very personal, so creating a space where you feel comfortable, respected, and cared for is incredibly important to me.
If you’ve been considering treatment but have questions or concerns, please feel free to get in touch—I’m always happy to help.

😂 Things clients say just before a colonic...
"I haven't shaved..."
"I'm on my period..."
"I'm worried I've got piles..."
Honestly, if I had a pound for every time I've heard these concerns, I'd be retired by now! 🤣
The truth is, none of these things matter. My priority is your health, comfort and wellbeing, and I want every client to feel completely at ease before their treatment.
Then comes the twist in the video...
🍹 "I'm off for a bottomless brunch after!"
Cue my horrified face! 😱😂
Whilst this reel is all in good fun, I do recommend avoiding alcohol for a short period after a colonic to allow your body to rehydrate and get the maximum benefit from your treatment.
Don't worry though – every client receives a full aftercare consultation, along with an aftercare card to take home, so you'll know exactly how to support your body following your session.
If you've ever felt embarrassed about booking a colonic because of any of the reasons above, please know there's absolutely no need. We really have heard it all before! ❤️
