If my makeup isn’t for you, that’s absolutely fine. Everyone has different tastes, different styles and different opinions. But what I won’t accept is people coming onto my business page to make nasty comments about my clients, their appearance or my work.

I’ve worked hard to build my business, my reputation and my confidence, and thankfully I’ve always had lovely feedback from the women who have actually sat in my chair and trusted me to do their makeup.

What I won’t tolerate is being given a bad review by someone who has never even had their makeup done by me. You are absolutely entitled to your opinion, but reviewing a service you’ve never experienced is a different matter entirely.

My business is about making women feel beautiful, confident and empowered. Every woman who sits in my chair deserves to feel comfortable, valued and beautiful, whether she wants natural makeup, full glam or anything in between.

We’re supposed to be lifting each other up, not looking for opportunities to knock each other down. You never know what somebody is going through, and you certainly don’t know the impact your words can have.

You don’t have to like me, my work or my makeup. But you can absolutely scroll on.
