CANCELLATION CHARGES
I get it!
They are a pain.
I HATE charging you for them as much as you hate paying for them.
BUT….
For every missed appointment I still incur business expenses (Lease, utilities, taxes, salary etc.) and these don’t magically disappear because you haven’t turned up or have cancelled with very little time (less than 24 hrs with us) to re fill that slot 🙃
I’m usually booked up weeks in advance and a financial plan is in action. So now, I either have to work later than planned or, take time away that I should be spending with my family to try and make up the loss, or I lose the income - which is a real stickler with the current financial climate!
The purpose of this post isn’t to make you take pity on me or intended to sound condescending, but in hope of shining a light on the point of view of a small business.
As much as cancellation charges might seem a tad unreasonable, they truly are there for a reason! Keep small businesses going by giving your full support!
