This wasn't just a facial; it was a complete experience and the most relaxed I have felt in a long time.
From the moment I walked into the room, I felt completely calm.
The atmosphere was magical, with the aroma bringing me into a meditative state and cutting me off from the busy real world. I went to a happy place whilst being soothed by beautiful products, feeling grounded as a safe, warm feeling spread through my whole being.
I loved the time given for deeper relaxation after the facial, which sent me to sleep. The time given with a drink and the opportunity to prepare to leave was very important to me, and I loved the acceptance of that.
My skin felt soft and pure afterwards, feeling rejuvenated and young again.
The aroma throughout was bliss, and I loved the products for my very sensitive skin. I have struggled for years to find good, ethical skincare that works for me.
So much care was taken throughout to look after my skin and my wellbeing from start to finish.

We’ve had a few new followers recently, so here’s a little bit about us. I’m Heather and along with my husband, Gareth, I started Jacoo. 

Growing up I had very sensitive, eczema-prone skin so we wanted to create products that truly nourish the skin without unnecessary fillers or harsh ingredients.

For the last few years we’ve been hand-making natural skincare in small batches using organic ingredients wherever possible and selling mainly at markets across Yorkshire. Seeing people come back to us time and time again with amazing feedback about our products has meant so much to us.

At the beginning of this year, our business took a little turn in direction. We still attend lots of markets, but we’ve also opened our own little studio, where I offer slow, gentle facials and massages using all of our own handmade products.

We’ve loved creating a calm, welcoming space where people can truly switch off. And the feedback we’ve received about our facials have been incredible.
