Happy Christmas Eve 2025 🎄💋

Rounding up the festive sets from this month, I now consider myself an expert in painting red 😂

Wishing everyone a wonderful evening and day tomorrow. We had an unexpected end to our eldest believing yesterday so adjusting to that revelation (courtesy of a friend, although doubts were mounting so can’t be mad).

It’s been a whirlwind recently with a deeply difficult personal situation making things very hard, but I’ve found comfort in helping others feel good, talking and sharing. Now it’s time for my boys and making Christmas magical, even with only the smallest one still a believer 🙃

The busiest month, and the busiest week of said month so why not throw a roundup post into the mix.

Festive decor in the Studio has been kept minimal, clients have been enjoying some classical Christmas music and red has won colour of the month.

Surviving on tea and mince pies basically 🥧

Lots of ideas bubbling for 2026, my time with has and continues to be invaluable in shaping my offer and what’s to come.

When the Christmas nail art is rolling in on a sea of glitter, this is my kind of festive moment.

Painting dark colours is an art form in itself as any nail technician will attest. As much as I love intricate detail as an observer, I know it’s not where my talent lies.

Honing in on what my strengths are means I can focus on offering a high level detail in the areas I want to. For me that’s nail health, intricate cuticle and skin preparation and strong yet thin structured gel application. And of course mastering solid colours.

Naturally the process involved trying a few options, I think the green was a good choice 🌲do you?

It might only be a small thing you do for yourself, in amongst the caring for everyone else’s needs, making sure your children, your partner, work, your home, friends, water intake, movement are all covered. But it’s that little reminder you see when you are driving and you glimpse your nails looking good, when you remember that you feeling good matters too.

Seeing out Summer 2025. I have been a bit quiet on here, working hard in the background though, continuing to focus on my development and improving my offer for my wonderful clients.

It’s also been a time for family with the summer holidays and two boys who have needed me. Growing a business whilst parenting with neurodivergence in the mix, my own and my children’s, is something which requires a lot of additional time. I’ve given myself the space to do that and now am looking forward to moving towards the next phase for me and my business. Sometimes things don’t happen in the timeframes you plan, and it’s hard to accept at first but I am grateful that I have been able to regroup and now I’m excited for what’s to come.
