A little insight into what a fully booked week actually looked like for me this week 🤎

Wednesday, my second client rescheduled, leaving me with an unexpected hour in the middle of my day. So I made a coffee and read my book.

Thursday, I had a cancellation. I collected my parcels, went home for lunch and used some of the extra time to plan some content.

Then I finished at 8pm which was actually an early finish for me and somehow managed to spend the next two hours doing admin 😂

And I think this is something you don’t always see when you look at a selfemployed business from the outside.

Even after 6 years, cancellations and reschedules still happen. A fully booked week doesn’t necessarily mean every single hour goes to plan.

But I think that’s also one of the best parts of being selfemployed. When those unexpected gaps happen, I get to choose what I do with them.

Sometimes I work.
Sometimes I catch up on the things that usually get pushed aside.
Sometimes I go home for lunch.
And sometimes… I sit with a coffee and read my book. ☕️📖

It’s not always as glamorous or as perfectly organised as fully booked might sound but I wouldn’t change the freedom that comes with it. 🤎
