Located in the dynamic, ever-changing institution that is The Market Hall Shrewsbury, our experienced team offer a variety of haircuts for all hair types, beard trims and children’s haircuts. Here is some extra information that we hope you’ll find helpful. Amber Risdon first opened the shutters of Risdon’s Barber Shop February 2012. She is currently taking some time away from the shop front to raise two super cute babies. Though you may catch her from time to time as she frequently pops in to say hi (or help out with haircuts)! Mat (Manager), originally came to Risdon’s Barber Shop as a customer back in 2014 when it was just Amber & Michaela. Knowing Mat had a background in hair, he had to become part of the team! He has been a solid full time member since March 2015 and we a so grateful to have him. Mat has been qualified for 13 years and his favourite cuts include classic slick back styles, pompadour & flat tops. He is also a full time team player (thank goodness! - He’s amazing!)! With 6 years experience in barbering, his favourite type of cuts at the moment are either a classic swept back groomed look or a tight fade. In June last year we were delighted to welcome Cam to the team. Cam is full time, he is very dedicated and passionate about his work. Although he doesn't have a favourite haircut, he does enjoy cutting children's hair - he has two boys himself so they have a lot to talk about!
